can you still take the diffuser off now since the twin pipes are in the way.

I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
if i needed to yeah, just unbolt it and slide it out.

Is it bad that I wish your cams sounded more loby? lol

open downpipe you can hear them really well! you loose alot of that loby sound by the time you get to the end of the exhaust.
the cams are a pretty mild grind anyways

So as of now the car has been sitting in my garage for the past 3 weeks.

I havent gotten my Spree LED kit yet, although everyone else in the shipment got theirs last week.

No notification that my new radiator is being shipped or not. I cannot get in contact with the seller.

Just unnecessarily sitting.

Today I couldnt take it anymore so I gave the seller on ebay a bad review. He promptly contacted me and gave me a refund and said he was out of stock. This is the second time I have paid for a radiator and waited over a week before I was notified that they were out of stock. damn ebay

Since a aluminum radiator inst really necessary I am going to just order an oem through pep-boys and get it on monday.

the only other thing I am waiting for is the Spree LED kit. Still havent gotten a response from Julian.
I would hate to have to put the whole dash back together and then take it apart again if the LED's are infact coming.

Why don't you order a koyo from a reputable seller? I think even advance had an aluminum listed last time I looked.
koyo is about 2x the cost of a godspeed. and though it sux that he got hosed on the seller selling him a product that was out of stock i would still go with a godspeed over an OEM IMO. good luck tigawoods. smile.gif

"The buy my stuff, for help make great finish project of celica fund!"
I didnt see any on advance's website. I can get a mishimoto at Pepboys for 200. But I can get a stock for 120....hmmmmm

are you by any chance selling you demolished filter?
it wouldnt be worth it. All that is left is basically half of the cone.

installed the mishi rad. its a great product. really good fitment.

Dam it i wanted a weapon r filter to... o well i will take your word i wish i could just buy a new element or something for it but o well i will buy a new one.
i really like your engine bay. its just clean and basic, that TRD bar just completes it.

Did the mishimoto radiator come with a cap?
Is there a spot on the bottom where the fan switch plug goes?

And did you get it from pep boys?

they are pretty decent filters. I would recommend it. I bought mine used for 70 and it lasted me over 5 years

Thanks! I agree, the TRD bar kind of takes youre eye off of the slow motor underneath it ha

Yes it does, that shot was before I flushed it.
There is a hole at the bottom for it. And pepboys had it for me the next day.

The only thing I dont really like about the rad is the drain plug. It faces towards the back of the car, and its a fairly big hole. When you release it (with the cap still on) it still comes out at a fairly fast rate due to the size of the hole. If you want to drain it really really fast, pop of the rad cap and it SHOOTS out towards the rear of the car, and drains the system within a minute or so

yo bro, hows your rad mounts holding up? also hows that grounding kit working for you?

I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
they support the new rad very well. Those grounding kits are proven to give like 5 extra hp. But its something Id never be able to notice

i'd like some nice new wheels so i can get a actual wide tire for the 3s. But i am sadly to lazy to look into fitment.

2nd Gen 3s-gte.... It lives!97celiman"92-gt-quit making up random acronyms that dont mean anything. the only real acronym is JDM"
im slowing down on autocross. so im looking to just have it be a nice daily low slow n loud car. the money I'll be saving from those autocrosses will be invested in the wheels

Tigawoods, do you happen to drive eastbound on 32, towards I95, most mornings a little before 8 or so? If not there is another blue celica with white wheels around Columbia.

Excuse me if I may sound like a creeper, but I owned a 5th gen and honestly seeing any other modified celicas out on the road was a rare occurance for me, especially other blue ones, so for when I do, its memorable. I used to use 6gc for reference for a few things so after seeing, what I now assume to be your car several times now, I had to spend a few minutes poking around this morning to find out whose it was.

That would be me on my way to work! From what I have seen so far since I moved here is that there are alot of Celica's but for the most part they are unmodified and driven by 40+ yr old women. Even this morning I saw one behind me and got excited, but when they pulled up next to me, I could have been driving a Geo Tracker for all they care haha.
Where you into modifying your 5th gen?

1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situationエキサイティングカーレーシングチーム!march2010 COTM:6GCfeature2014:january2015-2016-2018 COTM
Nice! I am usually heading westbound towards Clarksville, I work for Antwerpen Toyota.

Haha that is sadly true and most that are still around are in very rough shape, especially where I live, they're falling apart.

My 5th gen was my dd, so I kept things pretty mild. I had a full exhaust, lowered on H&Rs, and a few other small things. I sold it back in January.

Oh cool, I live off of 108, a little further down. I was excited to see a toyota dealership in such close proximity, just in case I need some replacement parts.

Great color on the car.

What department do you work for?
