i think i have decided that new wheels are next years mod. by the time I come up with the cash ( and am still able to have a cushion in my bank account) it would probably be around late fall. Id rather get new wheels in the spring.

it was "flush"but the fender tabs where rubbing. So I remedied that with some camber. Might cut or roll the tabs and take in the camber

I may be able to come visit this weekend, I am for sure going to the big CPT meet on sunday, and might possibly be rolling my back fenders on saturday, If not, then I can definitely be there

if you pound the tabs just remember to take out the screws first wink.gif dont be like your bro and hammer away forgetting about the screws and now there are pin holes in the fender

I will have to do that, I want to be able to pull the camber more positive, Im getting slight slight toe in with my camber and its decreasing my steering response.
I have my dampers at max hardness so thats keeping them from rubbing too much

might as well take out the splash guard bro and spray rubberized under coating. so you can flatten the fender as much as possible. I'll be doing that soon once my dad lifts the ban on the welder laugh.gif

My spash guard pretty much cut itself out, haha. Or at least the tires did rolleyes.gif. Soooooo much better when you flatten the fender, it was super annoying rubbing every single time I took a turn.

YUP! every bump and sharp turn comes the harsh....im not even sure how to describe the sound or anything to compare it to

Yep, and passengers are quite literally freaking out (when you just HAVE to be driver, lol).

I was parked near the dyno.

I got there around 12:15, waited in traffic to park until 1pm, left around 2:30. We would've stayed longer if there was more food vendors. They sold out of water real fast!

I came in around the exact same time, we were redirected to the BJ's lot then realized there was actually room in the main lot and moved.
I stopped by the dyno area around 2 or so. A Black viper was getting off but I didnt stay to long in that area.

We will have to coordinate a meeting next time there is a show in the area. Let me know of any other events! Im still new to the area and the car scene

^ Really now, how so? I understand that the Celi is a very good FWD platform, but c'mon, that's basically an 86 reborn...almost no comparison.

it is a stock car, and i really have to take that into consideration. top end was non existent, just like the 5s.
It handles fairly well, we had to keep traction control on...which hindered the handling performance quite a bit.
Handle and high end power wise...i'd prefer my celi. But the only reason my car is like that is because of all the modifications...suspension, cams..etc.

After a few mods to the frs....whew...a killer car that would be.


if I was given the opportunity, id take an original 86 (mint oem) over the FRS

I saw the TRD FT-86, sharp car. Had some cosmetic and handling/brake upgrades. Nothing performance though, unless you count a better exhaust system. Give it the engine out of the WRX STI, then we'd be in business.

its a great looking car and I am too curious to see what will be released for it and how creative people get with it

last night I had a dream I met a guy outside of a TJ MAXX (idk why it was that store) who rolled up in a classic pristine Jag.....which looked conspicuously like a RA celica....but it was a jag.
And he was selling it for what I think was $1k...but I kept asking him to repeat it because it sounded like he was saying 100k.
that was the end of the dream
