Sadly, I had to remove the oil pan (which I had sealed like a champ) to remove the entire oil pump assembly.
The two bolt holes that hold the oil rotor section to the whole oil pump were stripped clean, retapped one, but wasnt able to drop the engine enough to re tap the upper hole.
The re tapping didnt look very clean and I didnt feel comfortable running with it.
SO I ordered an new Aisin oil pump. Lets see if this will finally resolve my leak.
LOL also I just ordered the pump last night...this morning went to check on my order and on the catalog the pump increased?!
I paid $77, it now is being sold for $85 what goes on here?
