I am in no way telling you how to set your car up haha. I personally would try a run without/stock front sway bar. I encountered a rotational spin on decal or quick transitions on my lexus that had F Sport front and rear sway bars. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkDOIM9a8gs (43 sec you can see a slight twitch after coming out of a corner and trail braking to try to stabilize the car after it being unbalanced) Long story short the car is unbelievably more neutral with the stock front sway bar, although a modest increase in body roll is current the performance is night and day different. I'm sure the majority of your symptoms can be taken care with a few dampening changes. thumbsup.gif

I usually see it happening towards the end of a slalom when the lateral momentum is at its highest. I think the rear is just so damn light.

Seeing as how I dont really plan to do much more auto-x I have been thinking the best solution right now looking forward to tracking is to flatten out the underside of the car and see how that sucks the car down and then see if I need a wing. Honestly I think the suspension is fine, I just need to learn to drive better. I really havent raced in a looooonngg time. Only a couple times last summer and I was still getting used to the motor and new suspension (which wasnt even on right as I noted earlier lol)

Aero is huge on a lapping/open track day where speeds are higher. Flat bottoms are epic improvements, ill try to find the link that shows how a drive shaft tunnel creates turbulence that disrupts the car. Its a pretty cool read if I can dig it up. Would be amazing to see a full composite under tray, cough cough biggrin.gif

yeah dig that ish up! I love reading aero articles.

We are picking up my buddies Z in chicago this weekend and we have been talking about building under trays (he wants to start playing with composites when he gets the car back home). We are going to do the under trays on both our cars at the same time and if his trials with composites work...maybe we will do parts CF but I guarantee that it will end up being alumalite and some jabroc because we dont have money lol

All that AWD and no go! Lolol
I understand, mine isn't seeing sunlight for another month

Yeah he gave them the shell and parts and worked with them to design what we have here now.
I wish I had the patience (6yrs without a cool car) and money to do that to my car haha

I dont. Just a crap load of bars make it look that way.

later on I will put in a cage and sell off all the bars

bars? lol.

I would love to take my celi to the track, for HPDE, but they wont allow it. No bars. its a convertible. Im thinking of doing a temporary roll bar, removable.

knocked out the battery relocation on Saturday. It was literally an 8am to 5pm job haha
Started the car this afternoon and it cranks over faster than the stock location!

I picked up a hydraulic crimper and BOY is that thing handy

finished off with some glue lined heatshrink

master cut off

since I dont have any important things going on behind the front seats I didnt find it necessary to tuck the cable much

I quickly came to the realization that quick solder terminals are THE WORST

cool wires I got to use

next weekend is going to be spent making a small relay panel that I will mount in the glovebox....and after that...racepak smile.gif

Nice install, is the master cut off just to save the battery when not in use?

Very cool. But that opposition to flow though. Is that gauge of wire thinner than standard thickness? That way you can gets all your necessary power to components?

I dont follow?
Its 1AWG and standard is 8AWG to the Starter and I think 4AWG to the Alternator. It seemed like plenty to power the accessories but I have the majority of them unhooked at the moment. I am going to check everything under a more full amp draw this weekend and see how it handles it.

What are those boxes with the dashes in them? Accessory input. And switches with connection from each side. Trying to understand, but confused

Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle partshttp://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...p;#entry1107514
Relays, I am only using two at the moment and the horn is wired at the relay a bit differently than what is pictured
This powers and grounds the majority of my aftermarket electronics now, NO more birds nests in the footwell!!
I didnt have the right thickness plastic sheeting so since it was going to be hidden I jsut stacked 2 sheets and riveted it around the perimeter, its wavy but it holds

I solder all my terminal connections, I hate these things and they never hold when I crimp them

also got my tires removed from the RE's. Going to weigh them individually, i think those Falkens weigh ALOT

Usually a higher performance tire will weigh more with reinforcement in the side walls. The Falkens I had although 18s weighed in around 3lbs heavier per tire with the same width as the new rivals. I will say those Falkens look properly fast without even moving haha!

Ill be putting them back on. A couple of them were a pain to get off. My buddy was saying to just ditch them and grab some R888's. But I dont waste the money if there is still a summers tread on the Falkens left

Yeah but (we didnt test it first hand) when we took the tires off they just felt much heavier than some of the other brands of around the same size. I dont recall my RE71Rs weighing that much (they are 20mm thinner width though)

Oh well, anyways everything is ready to go, just sitting....waiting for the Racepak to ship out to me. Thats the last thing I have to do, with the hardest part of the the install being how to mount it. Hopefully it will only take me a weekend
Wheels will be painted probably the first week of April.
All battery and electronic work is finished.
Here is a shot of everything now in the original battery location

1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situationエキサイティングカーレーシングチーム!march2010 COTM:6GCfeature2014:january2015-2016-2018 COTM
started to figure out the wiring for the Racepak along with beginning to fashion the mount and surround for the unit
The LEDs on the side will be for the CEL, Open Door, Fuel Light and a spare

mounted the gramlights to pull the car out, the 5x114.3 to 5x100 adapters fit well!

still have a great bead after 7 months without a wash!

weighed the RE30's bare on my parents old timey medical scale
