Alright guys, I've been a lil MIA on the thread, so I think its about ime we solidify where/when yall are gonna meet, what time, and who is bringing what.

I say that anytime in the afternoon, I am pressin my supervisor to give me both days off, I am still waiting for a response from her. The meet date is Friday October 16th and 17th; the 16th is a night meet/bbq/bonfire/chillout at my place. The 17th is a full on activity day, whatever we choose to do.

I will start the list off with things that will be brought.

1. xs94st (Xavier) - wood, 6gc bbq grill, accerlants, hotdogs, buns, wire hangers/something to cook that shiz with, football, guitar. Man my celica is gonna be packed to the teeth.

Add to the list, suggest what we can all do Saturday, suggest a time for the meet. I am hoping to have all this said n done by the end of this weekend, Sunday the 27th.

Thanks for all your guys' help.

-Xavier

Is there a definite meeting time? Or attending list? Did anyone find a beach were you can actually do this?

This post has been edited by MaskedMan: Sep 27, 2009 - 1:25 AM
add my name to the list, but i won't be showing up on friday night until i get off work at 10pm. I'll be there saturday as well.
Saturday is Formula D, and I know some members are going to be attending that.

it would be awesome to get a section of the parking lot close to the sand and do a photoshoot. there are quite a few lots at huntington. there is also a kick ass spot down in newport on the peninsula.
Hahaha..soo, since I've been going out with my boss on some dates, she said that I can definitely have both days off. Legit.

Meeting time for Friday is 4 o clock. Any early comers are welcome at my place, to go out for lunch, etc.

From there we can depart to whichever beach yall want. There's huntington, bolsa chica, and seal beach right there. I say bolsa chica. There is, however, 10 dollar parking, but we most definitely will be able to park together. I am hoping that it doesn't cool down too much, enough for any sort of precipitation.

4 o clock, Friday the 16th of October. Barnes n Noble parking lot at Long Beach Town Center. I will post the address later.

Yeyuh.

i would be carpooling with another member since im not paying $10 for a parking fee for friday night. I have absolutely no money to spend at the moment.

Then we will have to come up with something as a group and help correct that for you. Because if you car pool, that kind of defeats the purpose in a way. It is for all of us to bring our cars to this meet. So if anyone is willing to list exactly what we are doing, and list possible expenses for our plans, then talk with me so that we don't have anyone abandoning their car because of something we might be able to help out with. I am still half asleep, so hopefully my sentences make sense.

I say this in a generalized sense, because I don't want any more surprises. If it is just the $10 you need to park your car, then I will pay for your parking then. It's not a big deal.

I think to save even more money, everyone should take the bus instead. This way no one has to use any gas, or waste water washing their cars the day before. It also puts less mileage on everyone's Celica, and in turn, it would save everyone from having to take pictures and the trouble of posting them on the site. Just a thought. Oh also, everyone should just eat at home before heading to the bus stop.

Oh shoot, this helps a lot dude. It's going to be a long drive and man, gas is going to cost quite a bit.. I think like $50 at least for the way down.. but then I would need to drive back up... And man oh man, hotel fees aren't cheap either, and if you don't mind I gotta eat too smile.gif . And spending a night or 2 in a hotel room alone could be boring, so if you could spot me some money for some..er um... company, then that would be cool too. Thanks a bunch Faust! You're so kind!!! biggrin.gif

Haha well, clean cars are optional. Celicas do look better with a nice layer of dirt on them though.

Well if you want to get a room, I will split it with you, but Xavier said like up to 5 of us can crash out there. I think us who are broke (keep in mind, I am still not working, yet always willing to help), should take him up on that offer. I remember in the summer, I stayed by Disneyland last minute back in early June for only $54/night with two beds like at 3AM or 4AM.

Yeah it was down that same street Disneyland was on, and I made a right turn which appeared to be N and it was owned by Indians, very nice people.
