Maybe SlvdCelica09 did get a bit out of hand when he said that, but I understand him fully. Guy talking to another guy I would figure someone would throw in a joke once in a blue. Plus another reason I understand him is that's how we (meaning me with my friends) talk with each other when in a group or joking.

Lol the "did you at least beat?LMAO" is pretty funny and yea on THIS forum it doesn't really fit in but I doubt " did you induce in any sexual activities?LMAO!" would be any better. So basically you posted to say you talk like that because this is a car forum and not a "womanizer" forum; as if to say that you would talk differently if you had to. Which, in turn, amounts to you acting like you normally would saying "beat that joint" constantly. Then you also continue to go on about how if you're judged here it's not how you are even though in the previous statement you eluded to the fact that you talk like this because it's only a car forum. Seems contradictory. So is the sentence after that, where you pass judgement on me because I finally got tired of your sh!tty vocabulary and said something.

Shannon's correct, there's no difference in what the phrases mean, but I don't go around saying it every opportunity I get. "Beat that [sh!t/joint]" just sounds stupid. I was just saying, probably in his best interest to find a new phrase. I don't have a problem with the whole guy talk, I understand what you're saying. I don't expect anybody to say "induce sexual relations" or anything ridiculous like that. The phrase sucks, he uses too often and that's all I said.

How you talk in anonymity is a much more accurate indication of your character. (Sorry for sophisticated words, I'm still just pretending to be so I appear smarter than I actually am in real-life so that online strangers are impressed.)

I used to be in a circle of people that used profanity and dirty jokes as an extension to their dialect. Having grown up some and hanging around mature people both at work and otherwise I can say that if and when profanity does slip through there are 2 things that are taking place. #1 it makes people permanently brand you and #2 it makes people talk about you. Someone you might not know and never heard of probably already made up his or her mind about you just from other people talking about you. And I don't mean you personally but whomever has a dirty mouth so to speak. I have seen people basically jeopardize their future in plain sight.

In my scuba club we have this person who have said something about difference between a male scuba diver and a female scuba diver. Needless to say it was funny but someone in our group of 8 at the time has told someone else and behold we have a split in our club. Most female members made it clear that either he goes or they go. So he stayed and now we only have 1 female member in our club of 200 and she is a dirty thing herself so I guess that insignificant comment did not phase her one bit.

I was raised with a belt and ass whooping so my morals do not quite fit with the way americans were brought up. My mom used to tell me: "Word is like a finch, you let it loose and you wont catch it again". It took me years of doubting her and a few real life examples to learn that that timeless saying is ohh so true.

On a different note just because internet does not show your face, it reflects your mind so do keep that in mind when you post.
