laugh.gif you are something else Mike. So what if he wishes not to be in a relationship with women, that is his sexual preference. Let the man be.
neither Dustin or Erik are "Gay" confused.gif

lol correct you are shannon, and for those who have met me or the women I date... they are very attractive... and I declined to date a girl 700 miles away with issues.... or waste my money driving/flying out there to have sex with said girl because it's just that... a waste...
I'm comfortable enough with my sexuality to make above comments and still feel 100% hetero smile.gif
Please do put me at fault for choosing my women based on more than appearance alone. I go to a VERY nice college with plenty of attractive, intelligent, goal-oriented females that are worth looking in to more-so than a 19 year old girl with no life ambitions who has gotten through life being just attractive. Excuse me again for my less than shallow approach to women.... I'm sorry I let you and your lifestyle down.

So about that starting position... did I get it? And what type of contractual obligations come along with these duties? Any signing bonus? Please LMK, I'm very interested wink.gif *and yes, that wink is just for you big boy wink.gif wink.gif *
This thread is full of WIN! laugh.gif thumbsup.gif

WTF you talking about? Are you really trying to put me down using all this fluff? Do you have anything real to come at me with? Try harder, big guy. Gonna take a lot more than that to ruffle my feathers.

That, sir, is a joke. I've covered this. I'll repeat why there's a difference. I don't say it over, and over, and over again. I been here long enough where people know I don't ACTUALLY talk like that.

Oh not to mention - for the umpteenth time, this has nothing to do with derogatory terms. Christ, you people are slow.

I'm ok with being on Team Queer with Dustin.

>I used to be in a circle of people that used profanity and dirty jokes as an extension to their dialect. Having grown up some and hanging around mature people both at work and otherwise I can say that if and when profanity does slip through there are 2 things that are taking place. #1 it makes people permanently brand you and #2 it makes people talk about you. Someone you might not know and never heard of probably already made up his or her mind about you just from other people talking about you. And I don't mean you personally but whomever has a dirty mouth so to speak. I have seen people basically jeopardize their future in plain sight.

In my scuba club we have this person who have said something about difference between a male scuba diver and a female scuba diver. Needless to say it was funny but someone in our group of 8 at the time has told someone else and behold we have a split in our club. Most female members made it clear that either he goes or they go. So he stayed and now we only have 1 female member in our club of 200 and she is a dirty thing herself so I guess that insignificant comment did not phase her one bit.

I was raised with a belt and ass whooping so my morals do not quite fit with the way americans were brought up. My mom used to tell me: "Word is like a finch, you let it loose and you wont catch it again". It took me years of doubting her and a few real life examples to learn that that timeless saying is ohh so true.

On a different note just because internet does not show your face, it reflects your mind so do keep that in mind when you post.

Wow you come off as extremely close-minded in my opinion. (My opinion - don't like it tough)

A few key points though:

1. No matter what you say or don't say - you are judged before hand.
2. How were Americans brought up? I personally got smacked around just in case I did something later - I guess that is not American?
3. internet reflects your mind - please elaborate since well most people try to portray themselves as something different - some don't luck of the draw really.

Now with that said your experiences in life may be different than mine so you are certainly entitled to your views/opinions however different than mine.

To OP -

This whole thread seems like highschool drama. It started off sort of stalkerish then it backed down to obsessed and then all the way to shut off.

I would love to hear what happened that made her Batsh** crazy - just adds to the entertainment of the thread. Too bad we couldn't get all three sides to the story - that would be hilarious.

I'm enjoying this thread plenty, even without finding out why she was crazy. Besides, I'm proud of Dustin for actually admitting it instead of letting this thread fade out of everyone's memory. That's a lot more than a lot of other members on here would do.

Now, where were we?

Terracar I will reflect on 2 things. #1 being upbringing and #2 being alter ego that is being brought out over the internet.

It is not a secret that man's perception of women has been somewhat a roller coaster. First women were considered one's property, then came the challenge of trying to court women then it went back to the hippie days where sexuality became an open subject then a period of conservativeness and now it seems we are slipping into ways of objectifying women. I dont know if its because of what we are told to believe through media or because some cultures have too many freedoms, in either case there seems to be a correlation between respect for women and objectification of women. More conservative cultures spend more time respecting women than in "liberated" places. Nowhere else in the world will you ever hear the following phrase included in dialect: "I'd do her (alt. I'd F... her). American men aged 30 and below seem to ... for lack of better words represent the de-generation of sort. Your parents may be divorced 47 times but their understanding of gender is much different than yours. And your little cousin has a more liberal definition of gender than you do. One of the reasons why many cultures do not like American tourists is because rules of the game seem to elude them. Objectification of females is common to males and displaying sexy is common to females. It is hard to explain but it seems like our morals are slipping.

Secondly lets talk a little about the avatar effect. You can be anyone on the internet. You can be a 40 year old balding male with a beer belly talking to someone who thinks that you are a beautiful 18 year old female. You can be as rude and repulsive on the internet as you desire and many people unfortunately choose to go down that path. Inner feelings can finally be revealed, your alter ego or avatar could be anything you want it to be. As such your morals may or may not be reflected through your words. It seems that younger people tend to exaggerate their persona because by all account there is no way to verify their claims. Unfortunately as saying goes what goes around comes around. Many people now use internet to find out things about people, things that you might have wanted to keep secret such as your personal views. A friend of mine works in HR department and she says that 80 percent of her job responsibilities involve browsing places like friendster, tweeter, myspace, public records etc as a part of screening for employment purposes. She tells me that many people get denied partly on in full because some very interesting "facts" are found on websites, forums, chat boards and similar places.
