Samir, as of right now I don't work *cues everyone to call me a bum*, so mostly any weekend is fine if I don't have anything planned beforehand. Put me down as available anytime, basically.

so i just got word from work that we will probally be in a locked schedule starting next thurs, which means i probally wont get saturdays off till january

so after then would be good

This meet isnt planned for any time before Jan, so we are lookin good Joe!! i want everyone to have ample time to request the day off. NO EXCUSES!!! Any Sat in particular good for you?

After 9 attempts here it goes

video shot in 1080i with autofocus off meaning that it tries to zoom in on things so it gets blurry every once in a while. That setting can be turned off. This was my first attempt at camera mount.

As of 10pm eastern youtube is still processing video so quality may be choppy etc etc.

Not bad at all!! It is a little "tile-y?" but im sure uploading to youtube has alot to do with that? I was tired of seeing that truck though,lol.

Yeah... youtube upload works in mysterious ways. You upload a video and for about half of day it says "file still processing blah blah quality will be better when its done"

basically what goes on is that you upload any file format to youtube and they convert it to a very pathetic flv format after it finishes converting quality goes to half way decent. If you click on my user name you can watch my scuba videos in dvd quality there.

Music.. that was Scooter playing. I usually have to listen to my mother at 7am complaining over the phone as both of us travel to work but that was veteran's day so I actually got to listen to something on my ipod. I since modified my camera mount so will test it out tomorrow.

oh my. i watched the video again and the quality is 100000000000x better than it was before. it was all pixelated and vhs had looked better, honestly. but NOW! it is CRYSTAL! that setup will work wonderfully!!!!

I am using a scuba diving camera. Its made by Chinese/Canadian company called Bonica Snapper. They just released new version (this one). I am on their testing committee. I will probably exchange this camera for a new one since it has that sound issue. I normally remove sound anyways and add music so duno might leave it like that.

Well I think this would be awesome if my car is good to go. As of right now its sitting imobile in the garage due to lack of money and an unknown problem. But if i get it going and it works out ill def be there in my GT4 conversion. Keep me posted.

I sent out my camera for replacement. Should get it sometime next week or the week after. That way there will be sound at all times

I bet you if we had a reservation on a private island with girls gone wild in the middle of spring break we would have people lined up around the corner be it a 5 minute drive or a 5 day drive to the meet. Maybe we should err... at least time meet with some sort of nopi event or hot import nights or something... ehh I duno what else to suggest.

^ Decent idea, but A), I don't really care to 'meet' other cars...I want to see 6GCs, and B), I'm also here to meet fellow owners. So like I said...whoever wants to come can come, and if people don't want to, then they don't have to.

I know where pembroke pines is. Ive been asking and asking for meet suggestions, "broward" doesnt cut it tho-- the only helpful ones so far hs been yarik and swiss. Sorry to be harsh but this meet CANNOT be 15 min from pembroke, 15min from 305, 15 min from green cove springs/904, 15 min from tampa...... I hope you get my point.

Orlando is central to all. Askin north fl peeps to drive to "broward" is like asking u 2 drive to tallahassee- think about that. If you are not willing to suck it up and drive the 190 mi to orlando i cant help u bro. Sorry.

i think the meet should be in miami beach! somewhere where the beach is awesome and we can park and take pictures and stuff like that chill by the beach with chips and dip and cold cokes

Ideal situation would be to time everyone's vacation to the Keys and make one long big caravan from wherever all the way to Key West.

I usually drive there in April and in July.

Its a nice long ride with plenty of space to have fun if you know what I mean o-O

Once again, miami is far for north fl folks if they are planning on coming to this meet, anyway. I agree it would be fun, maybe we can gauge interest and see for later in 2010. Maybe everyone will be able to get time off, etc..

i cant get anyone to say they are coming, or choose a freakin date for ONE DAY. and key west is gonna take more than one day. lol.

Sam, you know I'm down with Orlando. A vacation is nice, but maybe not for the first time we all meet.

I say we all go with the Wekiwa springs location...it's the only concrete plan as of right now.
