I am 26 and do not drink so you will not be alone. I also have a 1080i camera with a bike mount that could be modified to fit the car. I am going to test it out on the way to work tommorow. Camera shoots 30fps 1080 and 60fps 720. It, however has issue recording sound (problem developed 3 days ago) it records 2 minutes worth of garbled screech and then all of a sudden goes about recording sound just fine ;-( I use it for my scuba videos.

For obvious reasons there should be several cameras.

^ Good idea. If it doesn't record sound well, we'll just put a song over it...it'll only record wind noise most of the time anyway.

i only have a nikon s6 point and shoot thing, does VHS video at best but its best sucks. lol

yeah sound is no big deal we can put a soundtrack over it or w/e. I cant believe we're on video recording this thing and nothing is set!!!!!


Edit: I GUESS if no body has objection or wants to suggest any better place, then Wekiwa will win by default seeing as it is central to all.

Dates, anyone?! January? December? february!? Weekend? Sat or Sun? ???

Report on my camera contraption. Video quality is decent but err... its no bike so camera vibrates with every shift and just by itself because of how its mounted. I guess I need to make a contraption then like all the other camera mounts and put it between my and passenger seat's headrest.

nope it is like, 9 miles. and it would be on the way "home" for everyone, assuming everyone is going to use i4 to get to where they are going.

I think the game plan should be meet at the park, and then cruise last. there is plenty room for stopping on that cruise route for photos etc.

My answer is yes pending 3 things;
#1 it is not scheduled for December 24-January 3
#2 I still have the car (ie if we schedule it in late spring I will probably be driving an evo)
#3 It is not April 15th-30th (I will likely be driving an evo at that point AND OR I will be on vacation in the Keys)

it'd probably be too cold for a dip. although if it is in the 50's-60's, the water from my understanding is a solid 72 yr round. so it would be warmer than outside? idk.

everything is in apopka, a city about 20m n of orlando. the cruise route runs from apopka back to clermont, and then us27 can be taken to I4 about 10 mi south.

spring water is weird. When I go diving in caverns (not my favorite destination but I am always dragged there to videotape folks)... water is always 72.. and on a cold day steam rises up from the water. Some sinkholes look a hell of a cool. One in particular is called Devil's Den. I prefer diving in ocean water since I get to actually see things.

I don't know if i will be able to bring my car or not but i would be down to go. And as for a meeting Ben (celica something cant remember his Sn lol) and i were the last two people to have a meet turn out in Florida we came up with every one meeting in Tampa because it is in the middle there is a nice park here and there is plenty of parking. It turned out really well last time there was like 9 people that showed. i don't know what you guys think but it makes it some what even on everyone just my two penny's lol

Yes, but is there a good local cruise spot? If we're in Tampa, we have to deal with traffic. Samir's location is outside of Orlando, away from traffic. But by all means, keep suggestions coming guys.

While we are on topic of meeting... anyone wants a hatchback only shogun spoiler? I can take it with me to the meet. Its collecting dust anyways. Can give to someone for free. Needs bolts and paint but other than that its 100 percent erebuni goodness.

Also full air suspension (heavy as hell but) $1000 or best offer.

For time being I am tinkering with my camera mount. Will post test video in just a bit.

Is your clutch gone gone or just part time gone? I had mine changed with the swap I believe so fingers crossed it will last me for a little longer.

twolow- I really think orlando is more central for everyone. tampa would be asking our SEFL members to drive an extra hour across the alley, or 2 across I4. plus it is always trafficy over there from my exp.

If you never drove a 3s celi... you might need a few minutes to get used to it. I went through 2 sets of tires before figuring out when to shift, how to shift, how fast to drive and take corners and stalling it a few dozen times.

My step father tried driving my celi when my family visited. He could not get it out of the parking lot. But then he has been sissified in the last 10 years. He has not driven a stick in over 12 years and last 10 it was nothing but auto camry's van's and suvs.

My goal is to give him a birthday present in next 10 years... something fun with a stick.
