about the chips, yes, its really an informal thing, im not really keeping tabs on whose got what food, its no big deal, Publix is but a mile away from the meet location where we can get everything we need fresh. The main things im concerned about have been taken care of already, like coolers, grill tools, etc.

sounds good to me- so lets just say i will come with my celica and my boys-lol we will grab what we need there-lol i cant wait-

One week from today! I'm going lowar'd today, so I'll be looking good for the meet.

Less-than-a-week-bump!

damnnn I just realized its going to be a 2 hour drive just to get there then another 2 to get back with the cruise in between--- u know i love my celi and my fellow celica riders to go that far for you guys- and i dont even know you--lol,, My ride isnt as nice as some of yours but its all good- it will be sweet to see the 6th Gens together-, and i know you guys dont want any other cars really but some of my crew is coming to share the love- they have 7th gens tho- we have to show them how we do-lol


4 DAYS AND COUNTING...!!!!!!!!!!

It's gonna be about 3.5 for me, so you can see the sacrifice I'm making.

Wooooot. I'm excited. This weekend is going to be f*cking epic.

Few days til! Get those cars cleaned and shiny everyone. Seems we should expect a high of 69* and mostly sunny day!

about the other cars, as Axel had asked, i'd really rather strictly 6gc, but it is a free public park and I cannot stop anyone from coming, so... yeah. There might even be a few minivans there using the playground etc, who knows, lol.

I agree with Samir...I'd rather just have 6GC people and cars there.

i know you guys want to keep it 6th gen so my 7th gen family will stay close but park away from the 6th's- so no worry- they understand- this is how we do with just our toyota's in general at our events- they just look out for me- i'm loved-lol

A VERY big THANK YOU to everyone who was able to make it out to the meet! (And shame on you flakers.) Special thanks to SwissFerdi for providing the awesome, juicy, homemade onion burgers, which was one of the best burgers I've had in my lifetime!

Samir pretty much said it all. Everyone who didn't show definitely missed out, that was the best road I've ever driven in my car, without a doubt. Great test of my new suspension. Samir, Axel, and Yuri are also some amazing people, so if you didn't meet them you missed out! Definitely looking forward to doing this again sometime this year.

I would like to say that we had 80 celicas showing up there but 5 are better than none and we did have a blast.

First I would like to thank Axel who have set aside a few hours away from his family and family functions and have come out to meet us.

I would like to thank Samir for organizing this event in the first place. Me and him had a nice cruise on the way in and on the way out with Ferdi tagging along.

I would like to thank Ferdi who have demonstrated us that distance is not a factor but commitment is. I would also like to thank him for those delicious burgers that he made himself.

I would also like to thank our Tampa celica crew for coming out. 2 cars that are not that active on our forums took time to drive 2+ hours and get lost and still have time to meet with us even if it was for a short time. I hope your trip back was safe and fast, no pun intended on gps interpretation ;-p

Overall nice meet and a few miles of careful interpretation of the law. Nobody got hurt and we had fun, especially on the way back.

If you were with us you would know what that means.

damn! wish i could have made it but family situations came at the wrong time UGH!!

I thought i posted a msg on here before- but since it didnt show up- thankyou again for organizing this meet- yes i am the one with the gps malfunction-lol, you guys r great sry to only to have stayed a short while- but we had a great time and it was a nice road trip even tho i didnt go on the cruise with you guys- you took some great pics and i cant wait to maybe do this again and this time im good on the gps issue so we will be able to play for a little longer--lol. take care
