Bought a set of kouki fogs, but I shipped them back home, since that's where I'll be in about 3 weeks. I'm excited smile.gif

Finally, some significant progress. I got my header installed today. Was supposed to happen last summer, but unexpected costs came up, so the header ended up sitting in my room for a year.

Thoughts, impressions?

Definitely not what I expected. I knew I wouldn't have a significant increase in noise, what with my GReddy SP1 and all, but there's only a very slight difference in noise. Very slight. I haven't driven it enough to notice anything else yet, however...

Really? So It's not much louder at all?
Thats unfortunate lol

I mean, I can notice a difference. It idles a bit more aggressively and it's definitely a different sound. It's just not what I expected kindasad.gif

Does it sound bad?
And yours is an ST right?

Getting rid of the cast manifold will give the sound more of a rasp.

Looks good.

Yeah, it's an ST. Like I said, I liked the sound before, and it didn't change much, and I still like it. I just thought the tone would be a tad bit stronger is all.

What do you mean?

When you get rid of your cast iron header you gain raspyness. Nice kyb sticker ricer.
I'm getting some work done on my car. I want to take care of problems before buying more mods. Problems that will be fixed on this visit are:

1.) My brake pad mysteriously failing.
2.) Oil leak (found out it was an axle seal, the same shop did my axle last year, so that part should be free due to the warranty)
3.) Burning oil (combined with the leak, it got to a point where I was going through a quart every week or so)
4.) Rough idle (probably a vacuum leak, probably can fix it myself, but it's already going to the mech, so why not)

Then she'll be nice and healthy!! She's been there since Monday and I'm getting anxious.

I'm getting restless, not being able to get new things for my car, so I got bored and modified these.

Like hell I'm paying $30-$50 for the OEM GT-Four ones.

Meh, comes out to about 24-30 total? Personally, I think the cut ones look better, since I'm not getting a vinyl cover. Looks minimal and I like it. Even though it's in the trunk... why am I being picky lol

Dude, I could get 25mm spacers for these wheels, and they'd only come out as much as the Drag DR-31 wheels I've got my eyes on already do... lol

These are 17x7.5 ET45 and the ones I'm getting are 17x8 ET35.

Got my bonnet shocks and I absolutely love them. Raise the hood, shocks do the rest while I grab my tools. Excellent!! Most useful mod I've done.

Currently hassling with a loose wire leading to the male connector for my driver side low beam. It'll hopefully be resolved by the end of the week.

Still saving up for something bigger...

Resolved the headlight problem, I'm back to beautiful 6000K. The best temperature for HIDs in my opinion.

Next, I'm gonna wire in my fog lights. I just need a soldering iron...

Today, I got a replacement high beam housing from Norberto. So now, I'm waiting for a semi-warm day to get to work and replace that, reroute the sidemarker wires to the fog lights and splice the sidemarkers into the turn signals so they'll blink when the turns blink. While I'm at it, I'll finally be getting around to installing my 7th gen shifter and brass bushings. She'll finally be getting some long-deserved love.
