LOL JDM Chicago=mostly morons.

Glad you'll be there, how have you been? Still with the cute AZN girl?

The girl requested off work and got it, so I might be showing up in a Celica after all. We might take my old black car (her current car) or I might be buying another Celica before then. For now, I'm leaning towards another appearance in the IS though. Are we going hiking again?

Wait, so you ended up dating that girl you sold your car to? NICE.
Yes, hiking most likely... which reminds me I need to bring slippers this time...

Well, I just got a job, so this is a absolute yes for me!

Hiking: Definitely. Even if its rainy. That seems to make for the best pictures smile.gif

lmao @ Shig

I know most of the Chicago Ctech crew which is why I thought that I would extend the meet to include all Celi's. But I'd like to keep it that way because we are a pretty chill group.

Well, unless we want to start a paypal fund for Daniel, I think we are going to need more foodstuffs.... Maybe a variety of sodas as well?

IMO: its better to have to take stuff home than to not have enough....

So, think of something and throw it up by your name!

We could probably use more drinks, hot dogs, buns, if somebody else wants to bring burgers too, anything else that anybody wants to bring. We've really got most of it covered.

Just a note to those that haven't gone hiking yet, you'll want to bring shorts/sandals because we'll be getting our feet wet.

I'm probably bringing my old black Celica, not the IS. I'm coming up from the South and I'll probably be stopping at the car wash before I show up, if anybody else wants to meet up there or ride in together. I know Rob and I will be able to meet up and ride in the last few miles, but I think everyone else is fairly well coming down from the North.

Damn, sounds like fun. Would be a bit of a drive from MN. Celi is not up and running so I'd be in my personalized 5th gen Camry. Will make decision as date gets closer and details of the meet are a bit more in stone.
I've edited my first post in this thread to reflect the details and attendance list thus far.

ZGEAR: The details of the meet are set. All we are looking for now is a head/inventory count. smile.gif

So the usual show up at the spot around noon, get some grub going, drive to matheisin, hike around, then go drive around lazily along the river, get some pictures, and rally on to dinner? Depending how much driving you all want to do, 6 is a nice cruise back to 80 on the north side of the river or you can cruise along the county highway on the south side of the river (it changes names alot) till you hit 170 and cross the river there at Seneca where you can pick up Union street which turns into Old Stage Road on the north side to ride into Morris and pickup 47 to get back onto 80 East.

I did the same with the original post of the thread.

For anyone who doesn't have my number yet but feels like texting/calling me to find out where the meeting spot is, what time I'll be arriving, etc., my number is 618-926-4447. Probably better call someone else who actually remembers where the spot is though. Bitter, since I'll have a GPS with me this time, what are the exact coordinates?

I'm new to the whole celica thing I used to drive a focus. But anyway can anyone come to this or is this an invite only? I'd just like to meet some fellow owners.

I think somebody else is coming from Milwaukee too, but I can't remember who it is. You might be able to caravan down together. But feel free to come on out. The more, the merrier.
