No, the Mazda headlights are just downright unsafe. They do not light the road well enough to drive safely at night at highway speeds on the low beams. Aim them up any more than they are and they glare oncoming traffic too much.

Ah and to be fair, I'd probably be pissed I didn't take the Celica by the end of the day anyways. Its alot more comfortable. Need to atleast throw a coat of wax on it, its dirty from being stored all winter.

Even if its the slowest and quietest Celica there.

I'll probably be waxing mine there, thats it. Its going to be raining out this way. No time to get it all polished up for the meet so it won't look its best.

idk, do you really want someone to come that would lie that much in his profile about a car he doesn't even own? I'm not saying hes a bad guy or anything, just questioning his trustworthiness since he would lie about something so insignificant. (steal a pic from another member/ say he has a 10 second ST...)

It's like an hour from me and I'm about 30 minutes from Chicago so it'll be like 1.5 hours for you.
Chris, it takes me about 1.5 hours to get there from my house just northeast of O'hare.

Yeah, I'll be washing mine right before I get there. I forget what the name of the car wash is, but it's a tiny little place in Oglesby... I think? Anyway, it's right on my way and unless it's pouring down rain (which doesn't look likely!) then I'll be giving it a quick wash. 5 hours on the interstate won't be kind to it. PM me for my number if you want to meet up, or I posted it a few pages back in this thread.

Bitter, pretty sure any stock 6th gen that shows up will be slower than yours laugh.gif

On a side note, I thought of something that nobody has said they are bringing... Burger toppings. Cheese, ketchup, things like that.

ugh, i already went to the store and bought enough chips to feed a small army, i didnt even think of burger toppings either..

I have some ketchup and relish and mustard here I can bring. Got a ricer green table cloth too and some granola bars for snacking.

I realized that after I posted that but you never know, he just might be a person who really loves 6th gens. Can't really judge someone by their first impressions right?

You taking I80 east bound? I might not even wash my car... pretty dirty but I don't really care.
I'm not even sure now if I want to go anyways. Kinda not feeling it.

PROJECT 6TH GEN<FS: Things up for grabs><Progress>
Shig, I'm coming up on I-39/Rt. 51. I will be getting off the interstate right before I-80. Either way, we'll only be a few miles apart. Rob and I might be meeting up but a detour of a couple of miles can't hurt. There's definitely a car wash along the way in Oglesby.
