I might have a 24mm front sway bar and new 'stock' rear struts. I actually might be able to go round a bend without the back end wanting to trade places with the front end.

also - when did this get rescheduled?? i'm glad it did, because i wasn't able to make it for the 27th (last second delay), but i get back to a computer and it turns out to be rescheduled... awesome. so the official date for this is now sep 24th?

EDIT: i can also try and leave a note on every celica in town that i can find... i know there are 2 6g's that are in the highschool parking lot mon-fri, there's another half a block from my grandparents... another lives half way to the next town over, and i one of the guys coming with me knows a couple gen7 owners. i also know where 2 gen7's park at night. i'll try and bring as many celica owners as i can. lol, hell... i may have my 3S swapped celly running by then even...

I'd love to have my new bits installed for this, gonna try. Maybe I can go around a corner and won't be the absolute slowest one. The road should be more well seasoned now, takes a couple years for a road to get good from being new.

Nah, 24mm solid 2 position adjustable white line front sway bar (to compliment the 22mm rear one) and new 'stock' rear struts since mine are toasted...no rebound control left in them at all and compression control is going too. Should bring it back to feeling good again.

Got struts, going to try to install this weekend. Sway bar next weekend since I need to get the links yet.

I had the great idea to buy Megan coilovers for my celica, (they came today) but one day after i ordered them, i was replacing my rear caliper and finally took a nice close look at the rust under my car.... AHHHHHHH RUN!!! so i am now horrified by what i saw, and i quickly made arrangements with my sister for when i go to Florida to visit her on spring break, to buy her RUST FREE North Carolina stratus coupe sooo, the coilover are now for sale.. (brand new in box) (every thing else that i added to my car is also for sale now. I'll be making a FS thread soon for everything) BUT not to worry, im not going to sell my soul and go to club3g or 2gstratus.. since ive looked around on both sites and im not impressed by the type of people that lurk around there.. (reminds me of civic owners..)

C3G has some great info, not everyone is a dip**** noob...they just keep us entertained in OT. 4 or 6 cylinder? 1st thing you need to do is replace the rear sway bar/links/bushings with some beefier stuff, then lower about 1-1.5 inches. Makes a big difference, not that I've ever owned one. They feel too bulky to me. Check out SpecialK's auto cross car and some of his video's. He was all but laughed off the track at the DSM shoot out in Ohio but then had the fastest laps there....

Anyways, the Midwest meet isn't so much about the cars....and I'm bringing my friend with a 12.5 sec turbo 3G down from Wis.

ha ha ha im already registered, i did that when i was going to buy one of these last year before i found my celica, then i bought the celica and figured i was never going to go back to that site, so i changed all my account info and changed my contact email to one of many i once used and have since forgotten the password to both the account, and the email... i dont even know what email i used ... so last week i made a new account with my correct info and everything, and it got banned within half an hour because i already have an account there that i cant use.. i can only get on with my netbook since it auto-logs me in when i go there. but i have since sold that netbook and can no longer log in.. so SCREW THEM!!!

the stratus is a 4 cylinder 5-speed, first thing im going to do is replace the shifter bushings under the hood, since that seems to be a very common issue making it hard to get into 1st and R. which the car already has trouble with that. and the money i get from selling my coilovers, i hope to use to buy coilovers for the stratus so it will be lowered, making it look 100x better
