update from me... i will probably be bringing budget sodas, because as of last night i have 2 tickets to pay, still have the 3S swapped celly to pay for to get back from the shop, and need to come up with the co-pay to go get the swelling in my head checked out... xD hope ya can forgive me for being cheap on the drinkage... kindasad.gif

also: i seem to now be incapable of properly using a computer...

I can bring some name brand crap, some chips, maybe some apples, sugar, butter, cinnamon, and foil for the coals of the grill. Anyone had baked apples like that? Oh tasty. Taters go good wrapped in foil with butter and herbs too.

Little teaser, it put down 298whp on a mustang dyno with the SOHC head. He's got a parts evo for a head swap and drive train swap.

Ah, I thought I saw you showing some interest in a set of projectors in the buying/selling section. Shipping won't cost much and I think I still have the headliner clips. I'll have to find them. I don't think I threw them out. I'll just throw those in the box with the headlights.

yeah, if they were cheap enough i would grab projectors ASAP. but i think there was a line for that pair already. and thanks again.

I've seen him around plenty of times at local car shows n what not. Just have never had a chance to talk to him. He can say the same about me also i bet.

I believe everyone down here calls him chick mode cause of his car lol.

So Rob, Erin, and I might be dipping out early in the hike or right after the hike to catch part of MOD down at the Normal IL Mitsu factory and hang with some Mitsu people that evening. Anyone who wants to come down is welcome really, its about an hour south.

laugh.gif funny, a buddy of mine in NC who has a mustang said he'll never own a celica because if he bought one it would probably come with a boyfriend... just reminded me of that...

Unless he's got a V8 under the hood he's got ZERO room to talk...and atleast the scoop on my car does SOMETHING.

Even then, it depends on the Mustang and the V8. I've raced Fox body 'Stangs with the 5.slow with my Celica ST auto and wasn't far behind. Raced them in my stock GT 5 speed and stayed right there with them. Mustangs ≠ chick magnets.

That said, your friend with the Mustang has a point. I actually do know somebody who bought a Celica and it came with a boyfriend. Being the boyfriend in question, I'm not complaining wink.gif

LOL, makes sense... i don't exactly know what's up, but for some reason my 5S celly seems to decide when she does and doesn't want to run fast, and i would be nervous to go up against a mustang other than an LX... the other day it got smoked by a SENIOR CITIZEN in a stratus... neither the driver nor his wife had any teeth, and both looked to be in their late 70s... confused.gif

and the dude's mutsang has a few intake and exhaust mods, i personally like his car even though it is a mustang... nothing else sounds like it, and that thing does pick up and go. but my 3S celly would take it.

I feel gypped now. My celi did not come with a boyfriend. I think I should return it and buy another one.
