Well took her out for a small drive
I think my axle mount is alittle high an causing a small leak

An she's going to the exhaust shop tomorrow to get the leak fixed in the exhaust
After that ill bring her home an tweak the mount some an hopefully have that fixed too

Neather problem is that bad
I'll have it fix in no time

Well small update
Exhaust is fixed an found my leak
Looks like my drivers axle has popped out some or the seal when bad
So I'm going to fix that this weekend

I'm looking for an oem intake 1mzfe. When was vvt-i first introduced into the 1mzfe?? Also, do all 1mzfe use the maf adapter like the beams engine???

Well she's moving under her own power again
Still seem to have a small trans leak but that'll be easy enough to fix at a later date
Just happy she's drivable again

Well finally got the trans to stop leaking
Car seems to be running great
Hopefully she stays that way for awhile

Once I get a few more miles on her an a axle mount made I have alittle more faith in to really get on it some
If everything stays the way its running/drive good well bring it down on the 22nd IF (big big if) Liz will let me
But the swap does have 220 mile on it so I'm gonna do my best to rack up about another hour worth of driving tomorrow

Took her out for another drive an after about 3 mile I started hearing a very faint tapping sound so I turn around an headed home by the time I got home it was getting alittle louder...... 99.999999999% sure its a rod bearing.....FML frown.gif

Don't worry smaay I don't plan on starting her again till I know for sure
I'm thinking about just pulling the motor an rebuilding the bottom end with some new bearings

If I do that do I need to replace all the bolts too an stock bearing would be my best bet right?

surely the compression could remain the same...it cant be higher than 9 could it?

A quick google search shows a 10.5:1 compression ratio for the 1MZ

So finally got a friend over to help track down my sounds alittle better
I got a small exhaust leak and......... A rod knock frown.gif
So next weekend I'm gonna try an pull it out an see if she's worth saving or just using for parts
