When i clash elbows with my passenger when changing gear
Let me give this a shot!
You know you own a Celica when.... - you skip work just to drive it...
- you want to put up a cot just to see it when you wake up...
- your willing to drive through a blizzard JUST to drive it...
- you have withdrawals when you can't work on it or drive it...
- you max out a credit card to fix it rather than buying a new car...
- you spend countless hours on eBay and 6gc looking for parts...
- your willing to give up your soul to keep it rather than sell it...

When your door gets frozen shut over night and the key doesn't unlock it so you have to climb in through the passenger side and give it a few nudges to get it open.

Master crane style, you will.

It's actually really cool when you get good at it. I'm just as fast now because of how often I frequent Taco Bell. My passengers are like "dafuq wad that?!"

You know you own a celica when U want to rap ur car up in the parking lot and realize that could cause more attention to your car and you worry that it would get ****ed w. but when u leave her, you hope for the best. You get back to your car, and get a warm fuzzy feeling reassuring yourself she wasn't touched. Than open your door , as you sit down and sink low to the ground and think, damn I love this seat .

anyway,

you know you have a celi when your bank account is always empty

Yea yea true !!!
You armericans must have got a raw deal with your celics i agree with

Looking through forums and ebay for rare jdm parts
Having to go throught the passenger side because the drivers door is frozen shut.
Having to bang the door cars to free up the window for it to go down when frozen.
Having weird angles to change gear with a big drink in the holder.
Having people ask you about your supra.
Having the doors close on you when trying to step out of the car.
Also when people parking very close to you flicking on the ignition to put down the window to climb in.
Having to take off the front bumper to change headlights
Having the motor ariel sticking up.
Calipers seizing on the car.
Knowing a celica by its front bumper and rear lights.

The only thing iv had to do on my celica in the last 3 years is.
Fix the drivers cailiper when seized
The handbreak cables
The drivers side headlight when a stone smashed it
Servicing , pads , cv joints , drop links and tyres.

I dont get where ya have to lift the bonnet every week or that its slow mine is fast enough to pass out civics and over take without waiting and i have the ss11 2.0 litre 180 bhp 1994 jap celica

Haha, when i go through the drive through and my friend starts to order a drink, I'm like "NO!" you are gonna hold it the whole time if you wanna drink!
You know you own a celica when:

you tell people "i dont have to worry about that" when they lock the car with their keys in the ignition

appreciate that your headlights go off automatically when the door opens.

people ask you if its an all trac and you tell the story of the difference between all trac and gt four and how the GT four was not made for U.S. consumers.

was helping a guy get his keys out of his car with a coathanger and he didn't believe me so I had to walk over to my celica and show him. It was funny because he drove a toyota that didn't have the feature. He was amazed
you know you own a Celica when you want to buy all the rare parts so you can save or use them, but you can only afford a few every once in a while and usually miss the good stuff because you are broke.

true story.
^^ yep I hear you bro

you know you own a celica when you craiglist everyday just to see if there are any for sale, not that you're looking to buy but maybe if a really nice clean 5spd GT with 8 speaker option comes along you'll jump on it.

had a neighbor once asked what car i bought when i got the celica, a week later he tells me one of his friends has a yellow gt4, in puerto rico, he said it was a special edition that came into the island, this is the same idiot who said he knows a guy who owns a lhd skyline r34 "special edition"....................
You know you own a Celica when your driver side high beam lets water in.

taking too long to mod since '09June '12 COTM'95 AT200
you know you own a celica when you've given up searching for jdm parts on ebay because you're tired of seeing the same (overpriced?) items up for auction and there are never any sweet deals to find anymore... and even if you do find something, it's likely to be rusted/cracked and in poor condition.

you know you own a celica when you feel tired with it and look at other (faster) options, but when you factor in everything else as a whole including vehicle cost/insurance/reliability/interior/exterior/fuel economy/rarity/maintenance & repair costs/etc., you end up keeping it..
