I need to find someone here on the state side to actually make those for me. Gives the car a new and updated feel.

Mine came from Vincent_Doggy, not sure if he still makes them or not... But I know mine were a custom made set for the colour...

The sound of your car is everything I imagined my car would sound like, I listened to it twice because that sound is just perfect, especially the idle.

Brand new 6gc owner! (sort of 2011)The world is moving around a sun, the sun moves around a local arm of the galaxy, the local arm of the galaxy moves around a gigantic black hole.

Thanks! The exhaust is a 2.25" Resonator-Back Exhaust with an X-FORCE Muffler, It cost $250 Installed. It gives a nice sound at idle, and doesn't get too loud when driving or accelerating which is exactly what I told the shop to do (It's designed so that it sounds meaner, while not pissing off the car sitting next to you).

So started off the weekend with a lot of personal issues... Anyway, to get my mind off everything, I began working on installing the damaged bezel.
Before (Stock Bezel):

I took the bezel out of my car, and inside removed the stock plastic and inner bezel. Whole process took about 10mins, including removing the bezel from the car.
After, I then looked at how the new bezel installed. Luckily, that the tab that snapped is right where the screws go in, so the tab doesn't matter. Awesome!
Screwed and clipped the new bezel in and back out to the car... It wouldn't fit...
Because the new bezel is longer than the stock one, it doesn't 'slide' in like the old one does, so I had to disassemble it again in my car and screw the cluster in with no bezel. The try and squeeze the new bezel in, again it didn't work and I accidentally snapped another tab... oops... Luckily not an important one.
I then removed the steering wheel covers, and that allowed me enough clearance to fit the bezel in, and snap it clicked in. I dropped one of the screws so only a single screw is holding the bezel on, but it 'aint movin'.

Here is the after shot:

Personally, I think it brings the car forward another few years inside. And the custom blue matches the seatcovers great! Big thanks to The_enD!

looks good!

I like how the interior is coming along. I'm finally getting in mine and messing around too.

Got my alignment done today. Started at 4pm, worked on the car until 5:20, I had to pickup the gf so left and cam back by 5:50. Spent until 7:30 getting everything perfect. I am extreamly happy with the shop I went to, they're meant to stop work at 5:30 but they went 2 hours over time to get my car perfect for me. I now have no scrubbing over bumps biggrin.gif
The wheel does touch the splash liner at full lock but thats another thing to fix later.

They also went back over the rear, tweeked with some setting and dropped my camber from -4degree (Yes it was that bad), to -2degree. My fronts are both at -0.5degree biggrin.gif

How the car is sitting with the spacers. I think I'm going to raise the front a tiny bit since the driveer side is still rubbing.

Well after a week of waiting for the tyre shop to call, I ended up calling them back. When I arrived later on, it was absolute mayhem with cars in and out so thats why they didn't call me back tongue.gif
Anyway, on a Saturday morning I drove in at lunch time (when the shop is meant to actually close) and we got to work.

The car spent another hour and a half in the shop and finally the work totaled to:
- 6mm raise of the front
- 2mm drop in the rear (The rear now sits 4mm higher than the front)
- Removed the bolt on inner splash liner giving another 2mm clearance.
- -0.5neg at the front camber
- -2neg at the rear camber (Cannot reduce any further until I get camber bolts)

And since then the wheel has not touched the arch once! smile.gif I have also taken some corners hard and no rubbing so far so it is all appearing good in that aspect.
Car is sitting like this:

You wouldn't believe that this shot was taken in almost darkness by a phone tongue.gif

So little update time, I haven't done too much to the car since I have been saving money for a holiday in two weeks.
But, I needed my vents back in (Since it's going into summer here) and decided to get them Hydrodipped.

Unlike carbon wrap, the finish is HIGHLY glossy and it feels smooth to touch. Total cost for 8 pieces was $150. (You pay per item not as a total)

A friend also sent me this photo leaving a shopping centre the other day with the quote "Nice Ass, No Homo"

And finally, this is hjow the car is sitting as of yesterday morning:

Where did you get your spoiler raisers - they are lower than the GT4 ones? Custom?

They're known as Euro risers, and they're apparently pretty rare. I don't think any one makes a replica either sadly.

2001 Miata LS 5-speed
Yes they're Euro 'Half' Riser blocks, they're half the height of a GT4 riser block.
They're very hard to find, there were a few replicas made but even they are just as hard to find.

Ah right. Well I own a performance parts and fabrication business, so I may make a set for myself, and if there is interest I can make some more!
Have started de-modding my car a bit. Getting ready to sell her...
Weather has been pathetic and don't want to photo it when its dirty... Might have to though as it's raining every night...
