BAYAREA SUMMER MEET JULY 28, 2013 @ 11am - 6G Celicas Forums

Anytime in Mid-Late July except the 13th&14th because I am a Navy weekend warrior and I have to do my weekend thing that weekend. Lol. I say we do it on the 20th of July. It's a Saturday and Saturday are always convenient to go out and do something but then again there'll be a lot of people at the beach because everyones out for summer vacation.

I say its best to go with either:
Wednesday(July17th, Just so there'll be less people and more parking space for us at the beach)
Saturday(July 20th, Weekends are the days people will most likely be off work so they can show up to the meet.)

so whats up with the rendezvous? i vote again if my car is ready we meet at a safeway or something to buy food for a bbq...

I say meet up at a food market or a gas station so everyone can gas up if needed.

So is it final that we are going to cruise to santa cruz and do a beach bbq?

Any more ideas?

For the cruise. We'll need someone who knows the place well. So we won't get lost or go to some bumpy pot hole roads. Lol.

Not familiar with the area so idk a good rendezvous point.

Yea I googled everyone's city and I'm the only one that's going to be coming from south of saratoga/santa cruz, sadly. The rest are coming from up north about 1hr away from Saratoga.

Lets meet at a rendezvous spot. Im not trying to navigate through Santa Cruz Trafffic all day to find you all. Lol. Lets meet in Saratoga like what Nic said. Then cruise on highway 9 all the way to Santa Cruz and BBQ there.

So far in the only one coming up from south of Santa Cruz.

July 13th, 14th, and 20th I won't be able to make it. The July 27th I might head up to the wekfest event.

I dont like the fact that its called WEKFEST San Francisco when its in San Jose so I guess Im not gonna like the fact that the 49ers will remain the San Francisco 49ers when they are actually in Santa Clara, just venting....

UPDATE: Well, the NAVY's done it again. They're undecided on whether to have us drill on 13th and 14th or push it to 20th and 21st. Tsk. Well update when I know the offical weekend I'm working.
