ok... so thats about everyone on the site.... haha... biggest group buy i've seen....

I would love to get in on this buy, but have no idea if i will have the money by the begining of the summer or not. It all depends if i get graduate funding next quarter.

So if there is going to be a second buy later on or if it is not happening until much much later, then i woudl definatly like to know. But i cant right now unless you are desperate for more people. And from the looks of things that is not the case.

okay guys, since CBB isn't responding, I talked to chrisc about producing this. he said its a possibility but there are some things to be aware of:

- price will be approximately 330 USD not including shipping
- he can make an actual replica, as they can easily get parts from Japan
- shipping may be expensive because its coming from Hong Kong

what he suggested is that all the hoods get sent to an address in the US, and then sent out individually from there. what do you guys think?

i would like to try to stay under $400
if we can get the shipping charges figured out...i'd probably still be in it

I would still be in if the price is 330 without shipping, cause even with shipping added on i am still looking at or around the same price for a oem carbon fiber hood shipped from cyberbestbuy to a residential address.

Like do the gaps need to have something under them to keep the water from touching the engine?

Ordered the list by payment times. Mitsokid was on there twice, but added drolius and CelimanST. Why is CBB lagging on this deal? They have nearly 40 people willing to shell out a combined total of over 15g's. Even if they made a mold to mass produce the hood, they still make a profit and I'm sure there will still be a demand for this hood long after this group buy goes down.

i would like in on this CF hood purchase.. >> if that company wont respond, find another.
