There's supposed to be a ground from the back on the intake manifold to the firewall, it gets forgotten a lot. The ECU grounds to the manifold so if the manifold is not grounded to the firewall separately it can cause funny issues with the computer.
Then there should also be a ground from the head near the alternator to the right strut tower, and from the other side of the head to the left strut tower that is also connected to another ground wire on the transmission. Along with the main ground that goes from the battery post to the transmission and to the nose right in front of the battery.
