So this whole ordeal started out on March 22, 2014.


I was interested in buying a facelift bumper and a full set of headlights from japukspares. Transaction started out by purchasing him the set of headlights.


about a week later I received the headlights, Low/High. Opened the box High beams were fine. Both Low beams had broken tabs, which broke off during transit. Pm'd japukspares.


I was only interested in the driver side low beam. So he ended up refunding me for the passenger side low beam and he shipped me a new driver side low beam.
Another week passed. Received my low beam headlight....he sent the passenger side rather than the driver side I needed. Pm'd him again. I kept the passenger side low beam and he was going to sent the driver low beam. I was nice enough to sell the passenger side and sent him $32 to sent me the driver side low beam I needed.


Fast forward....July 5, 2014. Still haven't received the driver side low beam...


July 29, 2014....


August 5, 2014
No response from Japukspares even though he has logged in.

My car is fixed. I had bought the facelift bumper from Japukspares which I did receive. I ended up buying the drive side low beam from JPATTT (Thank you)


I was in accident. My front end got messed up. Hood was bent in half. All headlight's tabs broke (passenger side low beam survived). My bumper got cracked and paint got messed up. Car was still drive-able. I just pushed the hood down to make it flat again. I couldn't go out at night due to the lights. There were times where I did risk going out at night. I got pulled over once but the officer was nice enough to let me go.

Sorry to hear about your experience with Japukspares. I have never had any of the problems that you experienced. Ive bought hundreds of dollars worth of parts from him for a while now and still no complaints. Plus he has has the cheapest shipping ever which is a plus since hes over the pond and im in the states. But did everything get straightened out though?

His prices are great. Communication was great but in the end communication was getting slow. I pm'd him that I just wanted a refund on July 29, 2014. He was online today and He has been online for the last few days. I never got my part, money or a response. Someone else recently left him a negative review (he didn't receive his item either)

Yea I left a negative review I paid him 220 dollars for rear brakes and front calipers also mud flaps but since April he has been avoiding me and he mentioned all four brakes would be in good condition but the front calipers were extremely rusted so I trough them away bc I was mad I couldn't believe the bad quality of the parts he also send mud flaps they were ok for the price however I have not received my rear disk brake calipers I leave him a message almost every day asking for a refund but he won't answer I guess I paid 220 dollars for some ok quality mud flaps this member needs to be band from the site I'm an honest hard working man that could take this loss as a learning lesson but seeing you got ripped off makes me really doubt the honesty and moral integraty of japukspares hopefully I get my refund one day or he gets band and no more bad business deal's.

That sounds horrible, sorry about your luck. It happens sometime i guess. Theres alot of members here who have purchased from Japukspares and have received their items in good condition. This may sound like a dumb question but did you at least ask for pictures before you bought them? If not shame on you for that. Never take someones word if you can see the product being sold. It just good business to ask those questions like pictures, hows the wear and tear on the items. Theres quite a few sellers on this forum who have been in the same boat you have been. Buyers just need to beware always when purchasing from someone they do not know. Hopefully you can get a refund or the correct parts. Good luck with future purchases.

I guess its. shame on me then. But honestly if the seller says they work and in good condition we all know what that means that !they should work! right? I shouldnt have to ask for pictures mostly if we are writing to each other and in a forum were everyone is trying to help each other acomplish there goals I wouldnt do that to annyone even if I didnt know you. But I guess thats just me. sorry for complaining so much but it looks like I lost my money bc I dont want anymore parts I just want a refund thats all, just for the rear brakes he can keep the money for the front brakes that I through away bc they didnt work.

How rusty is rusty? Got pictures?

Surface rust isn't an issue that affects how calipers function.

Extremly rusty but that's not what made me trough them away like you said rust could be removed however if the cylinder in the caliper that goes in and out when pressing the break it was stuck so mostlikely they need it to be rebuild and I don't have that knowledge plus like I said before he mentioned they were in good condition so I expected that nothing more nothing less I didn't care about the rust but about the functionality of the break caliper that's all and like I said I'm not trying to argue with anyone I just want people to be mature and take responsibility for there actions also I trough them away so I don't want the money for that part. I want a refund for the rear brakes I purchased but never received them. Japukspares told me he had a tracking number for the package I never received any tracking information from him he mentioned that package was insured so if it got lost they would refund him the cash I never hurd anything else about that either And he said they would arrive in two weeks tops its been since April of 2014 I think we're late on his dead line right.? But whatever I guess it happens nice learning lesson for me and hopefully others learn from my mistakes.

I can help you out with the rear brake conversion though as I have 2 x celicas here that have the full set up on them that I am parting out.

I can also do you a complete front caliper with carrier for th at200 as well. I also have the mudflaps for all 4 corners and the ciglighter unit.

Here is a brake down of prices for you:

1. 4 x mudflaps = $20
2. Front caliper carrier = $20
3. Both rear complete hubs with disks = $30 each = $60
4. Both rear calipers complete with pads = $60
5. Cig lighter unit = You can have for FREE

Postage = $40

Total for everything shipped= $200.

It would be Wednesday when everything is shipped out as I would need to remove the rear hub set up from the car and I am back at the yard on Tuesday.

And you said I would get a tracking number for the rear brakes and that never happened you said they might have them on hold by customs then you mentioned you had insurance on the package but never returned my money at least what I paid for the rear brakes since you did manage to send me the mudflaps and front caliper brackets look I'm really tired of asking and bothering you but I work hard for the money I send you and it hurts to know there is a 6gc member out there like you.

I received tracking for my parts yesterday after a few week/months of wait time. Hope Dan fixes his issues with the delay.

I've been waiting for my parts from japukspares for little over 6 months now and he finally replied about a week or so ago saying he was going to send me parts and still have yet to getting a tracking number or a message saying, "Hey I finally sent out your parts." And it's not like I was asking for anything that's a pain to ship... It's for a cigarette lighter, boot light housing to actually put the bulb in, and some damn sun visors because mine dry rotted and broke off on the passenger side and the driver side on is sagging pretty bad.. I will definitely won't be buying from again because of this whole ordeal, which is weird because from everyone that I've asked about him on here and his reviews he seemed like a good selling like The_End or Vincent_Doggy. I guess it makes feel a little bit better that I'm not the only one that's had a problem with him I guess, means I'm not alone haha.

Well On Aug. 26 he told me my parts should arrive within the next week or so. Well its been 2 weeks, going to 3 and still nothing. I initially asked for a tracking number, which I never got. So now I am not sure whether the parts were sent out or not. I am aware he's across the globe and parts won't arrive in a instant but a tracking number would make me feel more comfortable knowing my parts is on its way. I just hope my time isn't wasted again. I hate bashing on people but this is getting ridiculous.
