Might have to sacrifice a sleeve from the t-shirt or a sock on the side of the road but it'll be worth it. But Iowa does have some nice rest-stops (best in the country in my opinion). Lol
Man it's a 7 hour drive but I feel like I gotta make this one. Me and the wife will discuss!

Bring hiking boots and spare socks.

There's hotels and stuff around the area too, the starved rock lodge is pretty nice I hear actually.

I'll try to get a couple 7th gens to come... I need to remember to bring some water shoes so I can walk in the water without soaking my shoes or stepping on some sharp ass rocks and tearing my poor 40+ hours a week sit on my ass in an office feet up.

I meet this club from Joliet IL , that got two 5th gen and one 4gen .I'm going to ask them to come.Since they want me to join their club.Plus theirs are show quality condition.
Im going to try to make it, no promises due to work currently

If you guys did want to try somewhere in Iowa to be more centralized,
Let me know. I live middle of Iowa and can be of help.

Also, I wish i could make it to the meet but my 99 GT has rod knocking issues at the moment.

Just keep us updated on how many are coming so we know how much food to bring, and also they should know to bring old shoes and clothes to go hiking in. Not that I think we'll do much hiking in the water in April but it's best to be prepared.

We usually have the meet just outside of Chicago just to keep it somewhat centrally located to as many people as possible, although we aren't opposed to moving it. You don't have to bring your Celica to attend the meet, you're welcome to come in any car you have! Last time I was at a meet, some loser tried to disguise his Matrix as a Celica by swapping out wheels, as if we wouldn't notice.

Then there's that other guy who is super dedicated to the meets and never misses a single one, and he always supplies the meets with torque because he knows we all drive Celica's so nobody else will bring anything with any torque.

that matrix guy was a pretty handsome loser though. and he's closer to a gt-four than all you fakers. celica rims, celica engine, awd... hmmm sounds like a gt-four to me. laugh.gif

How's everyone loving this warmer weather? I just bought a house, so the cars have been majorly neglected. I'm 1,500K miles past what I want to do for my ES330 oil change too... :c

We'll most likely bring Stacy's car. IF I can get the GS to behave itself for more than a few hours, I'll bring it.

We could've Caldina swapped Stacy's car for the amount of money the stupid GS has eaten in the last year.

Don't you have an LS as well? I feel like I'm two cars behind.

I can't enjoy any of the warmer weather. I'm buried under an ever growing to-do list.

Skyler resembles that statement.
