that's how I was on the final test for my ia license. I would get disqualified for barely nudging the cars and when THEY rammed into me or spun me out, I also go disqualified. Pure bs.

That's it. I can't take my B-Spec driver anymore. He just placed 12th after 10 laps in the 80s Japanese race in the same car that I was in first place in after 2 laps. He's horrible...
And for some strange reason, the B-Spec won't let me put tires on that are higher than comfort soft... FOR 10 LAPS. Who the hell thought that was a good idea? He's sucking because the tires on the car can't put the power down...

If you noticed the zr1 the supra and even the ST185 GT4 all look better with smoother lines than the ST205 gt4. LAME!!! and the SS-III is not even in here. Wow GT5 thanks for that. Is there any engine pics of the cars??? like tuning wise??
I bet you the Civic EK9 and Integra DC2 look way better than our celica don't they graphics wise that is.

Ugh tell me about it. Mine is level 7, I'm trying to have him do the FR races in the Beginner series. BEGINNER. Opponents are typically like a Camaro, slower Corvette, 300zx, etc. I got all golds in a Miata that had better tires and a suspension upgrade. Tried giving my B-Spec driver the same Miata, placed like 9th. Hopped up the Miata to almost 200hp, LSD, racing flywheel, only weights 800kg, etc, dumbass placed 5th. Then I put him in a Maserati. 426 hp, decent handling, should SMASH everything in that race. Can't even get past 3rd place. WTF?! I mean come on, in a STRAIGHT LINE he can't get past a car with half the horsepower of the Maserati. If he can't win that race in the Z06 or ZR1 I'm going to buy later for my A-Spec career, then I'll just give up.

I didn't feel like screwing around, so I gave him the ZR1 that I already had (get the ZR1, I friggin love it) and he pulled through. And I resolved the 80's Japanese race. I used an '88 Supra from the Toyota showroom with basic engine mods, flywheel, clutch, and the full adj suspension and he finally won. And mine is lv.14 and he couldn't beat a bunch of slow cars. I mainly blame the absurd tire restrictions. You're restricted to Comfort: Soft or less or a 10 LAP RACE.... Just wtf?

my first driver is at 11 and i can pretty much trust him as long as he has a bit of a faster car than the competition.
my other 2 drivers are 6 and 0. its a pain in the ass getting them to lvl up

On the other hand, I just bought the RE-Amemiya FD RX7, and for the way it handles, 100,000 Cr. was a complete STEAL! It's nicknamed "The Demon Lord of Mountain Paths" in Japan and it truly lives up to the name. This thing carves corners like if it was on rails.

Alright - I finally buckled down and after racing all over Calgary to find a copy; ended up picking one up at a Walmart.
I own the game now, so I guess its time for y'all to post up your Playstation Online usernames for me to add.
