I was going to buy it for meself, but then people started asking what I wanted for christmas so there I am. Now I'm debating whether to ask for the DFGT or ask for gift cards toward the G27. Thanks pal.

The driving force GT is awesome, I picked one up as well.

what % is everyone through the game? last I checked I was 72% Just working through Bspec now.

small game compared to GT4

I'm about the same. 71-73%, I can't remember

What I really miss from GT4 are the one make races in the dealerships.

I'll check mine, but i'm taking my time. On level 21.

It's going to take a looooonnnnnnnggggg time to get to level 40 to unlock the last races.

And i think mastering the Sebastian Vettel challenge would take forever.... i've heard it's nigh impossible.

Found a car prize list

interesting when you get to level 25, the endurance races are unlocked and another 'Special Event', Just on level 24 now, will take ages to get up to the next level, though haven't raced in the AMG Expert event yet, so I'm hoping I get lots of EXP there.

For the 'Dream car' event I'm using the TOYOYTA 88C-V Race Car... biggrin.gif

Probably late, but I just bought a GTR Spec V (R35) and my god... it handles amazingly. I got it for a Seasonal race in which any GTR under 493hp may participate... and when I got the Spec V in my garage, it had 501hp... mad.gif I'll just run it till the oil gets crappy and the hp drops, because it handles great.

I'm trying to get into the Rally Special Event (the lowest) level, and I'm trying to use my GT-Four @ ~380HP.

The even says its for any car with dirt tires and 430HP or under (or whatever the limit for HP is) - but it won't let me enter the GT-Four... is it because its AWD?

That's weird, I bought a WRX rally car and it has like 399hp, it's AWD and it let me enter it.

Actually, if I remember correctly, you do have to use FWD for one of the first rally races.

Actually, if I remember correctly, you do have to use FWD for one of the first rally races.

Oh yeaaaaah you're right. I used my Scoob on the intermediate level. Yeah, lowest is <299hp and FWD

wife bought me the game for my bday and it's an alright game. one of the rally events in the special section you needed a car under 245hp w/dirt tires. i used my mr-s and it won all first. i think level 10?

couldnt have gotten it at a better time. the new update brought alot of new things. make sure your online so you can reap the benefits.
more money and xp per race.

at first i didn't like it but i've played it 2 days straight. so far i like it. just need more money haha.

Sounds like we're pretty even then... although it did do a bunch of Special Events and B-Spec races last night. tongue.gif

Yeah, I don't really have WiFi in this room, so no online play, and really chitty PSN connection. I need to find a way to strengthen the signal, my PS3 says it's at 5%.

Yeah it sucks. GT5 is sick gameplay but as far as racing and customizing go, just ask for Forza 4 next Christmas. tongue.gif

It does, but I love the game play! Last time I played a GT game was probably 2 or so years ago now on my PS2, I have both GT3&4 smile.gif

But I'm definitely getting Forza 4 for Christmas next year, or even before Christmas biggrin.gif
I feel spoiled now that I have a PS3 and a 360 rolleyes.gif

hehe I know what you mean. I went from GT5 on the Driving force GT straight over to Forza 3 to do some drifting. Getting a little bit of the best of both worlds. I love them both for their own reasons.
