I just couldn't resist killing some cones on the UK Top Gear Test Track...















PS - Love the GT-Four. Sure there's oversteer, but GET USED TO IT! LOL.

... I'm tired... sorry for the rant. tongue.gif

Oversteer is what I want in my GT-Four!! I get too much understeer.

Meant to say understeer.

I would like to mention this though - I've changed the brake balance and the camber and I've noticed a significant change in handling... I don't mind it, but like I said earlier, I've just forced myself to get used to it. I'm sure once I get off my lazy duff and start driving the Supercars, I'll probably change my mind, but this is the best car in my garage ATM. tongue.gif

I think my best handling one is either my tuned up Elise 111R or my Mazda Furai Concept.

All stars are on a whole different level lol.
those guys are redic. it may work i dont know. my zr1 has 860 something and its 1200kg. but it doesnt handle as well.
i may give the furai a try....hehe it rhymes

That GT-4 model looks horrible, sorry to say.

Hector, good call on the 512 for the Italia Challenge, it was overkill. Almost made me broke though! I need moar monies...

I didn't think they did that bad of a job on it... tongue.gif Compared to the original GT model, I think its pretty darn good... lol.

I don't get to see GT-Fours in many games nowadays :S

Look at the square angles of the trunk lid and spoiler. Looks turrible.

... I could always swap out the GT-Four wingo for one of their "Universal" ones... lmao.

Does the GT-4 let you adjust the AYC (active-yaw-controller). It's under Drivetrain options when you go to tune the car before a race. I adjusted it on my Evo because it was understeering like hell, the default setting was 30 and I put it up to 50 and the car handled perfectly! I'd try it now but I won't be home for like another 6 hours.

Trying to do it without spending any money on the car, but i just hate driving them frown.gif

Lol send me over the Cobra whenever you can, my Furai has 525hp and weighs 675kg, so you should be able to win.
I just finished MR Sports, the Tuner Race, and the Turbo Race today, and I'll be doing the Japanese Championship later today

I just sprung for a new '07 Cooper S and bought adj suspension and that was enough for me. It did suck though, I hate driving Minis kindasad.gif

yeah, done the minis now without modding.

All that's left in pro level is the world championship. Guess i'd better get a decent car smile.gif Any suggestions?

^ No idea. I'm still attempting to finish up Amateur league...damn you guys are far in front!

Luke, how's the wheel by the way? There's a billion people bothering me for christmas ideas, so I'm thinking of throwing a G27 into their midst and having that take care of it. I'm not sure if the H-box and clutch are gimmicky, but the pedals are of steel construction and apparently differently weighted than the Driving Force GT. Interesting stuff.

trying to get to 21 tonight. i got alot of money from the pro rally stages. 196k a stage.

What car did you use for the pro rally stages? I'm at the beginning stages of 20! How high of a level is achievable?

i used a lancia rally car i had won early on. eaaaaasssy win. a good 30sec ahead in each race i entered

After a lot of racing and tuning, I finally got around to taking some pictures. I still haven't shot every car that I want to, but here's some. Enjoy

Hector - how are you getting that close for shots? Every time I try to get that close for a reflection shot - I get a "Please Back Up" message... BS!

Sadly - I have to return the game tomorrow... but I'm going to put my XBox system up on Kijiji and see if there's anyone that will want to trade me straight up. tongue.gif

Because I'm shooting my cars in Photo mode. If you try to get that close in photo mode during a race, it tells you to back up.

And Kyle was in that last shot laugh.gif

Is that the option in the lower right hand corner of the main screen that doesn't let me in because I don't have any Premium rides? lol

Went out and bought a PS3 and GT5 last night. So far has everything I LOVE about Gran Turismo, but in all honesty is missing a few things I liked about Forza. First off, no clutch....lame. Second, no drifting?.....lame, I rocked drifting on forza 3. Third, no rewind button....probably going to make me go crazy later on in career mode.

There is a clutch if you use a wheel with a clutch.

There is drifting. But you have to do it properly. It's not as arcadey as forza, the handling is realistic. There's even a drift mode.

Yeah, no rewind. You're with the big boys now biggrin.gif

I wouldn't say the drifting is anywhere near Forza, you don't even get points for it. Unless you do and I haven't found out how yet?
