Ok I was wondering how that would work, if it was like some of the multiple-car teams or if they subbed in when one got tired.

I borrowed my buddies PS3 and i will try and rent a copy tonight.

How do you get the pics off the console? confused.gif

View your photos in your MyGT Home, under the options list for each photo you can copy it to your XMB, which is the PS3 photo section. From the PS3 menu you can copy them to a USB drive.

LOL^ beat me to it

hit triangle when u are on a picture and select export to XMB
that will store it on the ps3
exit out of the game and pop in a flash drive in the front usb port
and copy the pictures folder or individual pictures to the flash drive

Anyone rockin a custom soundtrack? When I get home I'm going to copy some music to my PS3 and try it out. Got a ton of good driving music, including some hits from older GT games

I'm definitely putting Freewheel Burning, Oh Yeah, and Rock N' Roll Soldier from GT4 into mine lol

I have never really cared for the music that has been featured in the Gran Turismo franchise. My least favorite of all times has to be 99 red ballons.

In the expert series now, haven't come across any endurance races though havn't check b-series. The expert topgear race is funny.

also I found a odd glitch which I don't think anyones come across before.

Cool little car, the FT-86. It has a tendency to oversteer, which took some getting used to, but after that's under control the chassis feels quite nice. I was on the last 90* corner of Tokyo, thinking that it was a sweet little car, when I spun out. Lost my lead of a few seconds but recovered quickly, still took first. This was on the last lap too.

Fun game, still. Even though I'm finding that it's basically GT4 with better physics, tire smoke, and cockpit views.

I wish I could tune the Elise's suspension on the Top Gear challenge. That thing slide way too much. I just got myself an '04 Elise 111R and tuned the suspension to where I can drive it great. Damn challenges...

the elise actually sucks balls.
tuned one out for the british lightweights. back end whips out like crazy. with soft performances's

got me a 860hp ZR1..........o........m...........g is that thing fast

80mph in 1st gear.

That's exactly why I got one. The back end still whips out, but I have the fully adjustable suspension, so I messed with ride height, sway bar, and toe until I could control it.

Okay, so I finally found a '98 ST205 in the used section!! I dumped some money into it for moderate mods and a full adj suspension.


This car is a NIGHTMARE to tune. Understeer is a very big problem and no matter how extreme I tune it for oversteer, it refuses to turn easily.

Ok, is it just me or am I not getting the same dirt effects as some of the other people? I just did the beginner rally special events with my Lancia and it still looks showroom clean. WTF?

Ok - so been busy around here trying to cleanup and get the house ready for the weekend (fam coming) but I made a point of playing at least 1 race tonight.

I bought a '99 MR2 Spyder; and this is my first Sunday Cup! YAY!

Still lvl 0 - but that can only get better. smile.gif

I've only done the one Sunday Cup so far... then !@#ed around with the Photo Mode for about 1/2 hour.

So far - Photo Mode is the cats meow!

LOL.

I can't wait to get a high powered vehicle onto the Laguna Seca. (all time fav track besides the test track... )

This only applies to a grid start (not a rolling start). When the racing menu is up (the one right before you start a race) and there is a preview of a race behind it... or is it

I found that you could control your car and drive around (but you have to use the analog sticks, as pressing 'X' enters that menu icon)

Otherwise the game is awesome. It reminds me of GT3 on PS2...limited and kinda a mess but still great. Then GT4 came and blew everyone away. Wow GT5 has so much detail that they used model cars for their textures!

Another gripe: I wish there was a master setting for driver controls. I have to manually turn mine off for license tests and races, gets annoying after a while.

But, I think I've found one of my new favorites: the 512. Looks gorgeous, and punishes you with lift-throttle oversteer. Fun stuff. Very visceral.
