Picked it up, regular edition. The wallet and key chain would have been awesome though, I could use a new wallet and the key chain is just plain cool. biggrin.gif

I have no reliable Wi-Fi in my room right because the router is in the main section of the house and I'm in a separate bedroom. I guess I need another small router to catch a signal in my room? So online play will be sparse. I'll add you guys ASAP. I won't be playing until later tonight either, got papers to write...overdue papers! biggrin.gif

I won't be able to play it until this Sunday though. I picked it up right before I had to go to the airport to fly back home. I'm sitting here now.... not playing GT5 frown.gif

and Ferdi, I didn't get a wallet. I got a keychain, a REAAALLLLLYYYYY detailed model of a GTR Spec-V, and a driving tips/track list/car guide.

I was just at futureshop - and even tho I don't have a PS3 - I was contemplating buying the game... hahaha

Then I asked if they had a 3D demo set up, but they didn't frown.gif

And before I even play the game, I rescind me original statement of lack of wheelspin. I forgot that the R8 was AWD, therefore, there should be no wheelspin. After I finish this essay it's GT5 time.

the majority of what ive won, ive had in GT4 for the exception of a few new concept cars the ft-86 and a couple others.

there is so much wheel spin in this game.
grip is a BIG BIG factor in GT5

i had gotten a RX-7 and every time out of turns i loose grip. with soft racing tires.

Ah, I thought you meant the exact sequence. Of course most of the cars will be the same, the car list looks pretty much the same as always.

Having said that...my paper is down and I'm about to pop this bad boy into my PS3!

Holy crap Mike, you weren't lying...it's so much better than previously though, so much better. Physics are epic.

I'm sliding like a bitch though with an '07 GTI, I just had some snap oversteer. AWESOME!

have to say, I'm quite impressed with the game so far. (you can always say, it could of been better)

The movie at the start was awesome. The tyre/tire wear and loss of grip guage is pretty cool. I also like how they have returned the details/description for the cars,. The WRC & GT-Four descriptions are a good read thumbsup.gif

So I'm curious, who bought what as a first car? The used car offerings only had a Vitz and a Mitsu econobox, so I spent 17k on a new car that I know is good. Guess what that is? laugh.gif Hint: it's a roadster and FR.

I'm not so sure if spending most of the initial credits was a good idea though. I guess I shall see.

Yessir. I wasn't sure if I should buy only buy an FF because I know the second championship is the FF CP. But I did the Sunday Club and then won a Vitz, so it works out. Hopefully that'll be good enough.

Mike, Luke, how far are you guys? I wonder if the TG track is eventually released, I've only seen it in limited races...I was hoping it'd be available for practice or in Arcade mode.

Oh, and I threw some stickier tires and coilovers on the Miata.



After I win me some more monies, it's on to moar powerful cars. One really weird thing about the coilovers is that the height adjustibility allows for 5 MM's of drop...and 35 MM's of raising. redface.gif WTF Gran Turismo? You'd think it'd be the other way around...
