I don't want to see it yet. Call me weird, but I always consider it really important to cherish the newness when a disc is first put in.

Yep November 24th. Hopefully no more stupid delays. I'm going to take my lunch break to put my reservation in at Gamestop.

I'll have to buy GT5, a Logitech Driving Force GT, a gaming stool/cockpit (maybe), and a gaming headset. You guys better play fifty bajillion hours a day!

damnit I paid for the new need for speed because I didn't think it would be coming out for awhile! I guess I know what my pay check is going towards. How many of you guys have the collectors edition preordered?

They have a supposedly official car and track list over at Jalopnik. That car list, in particular, is very underwhelming. I feel like all my enthusiasm for this game just got flushed down the toilet. . .

also notice they have a NZ tuned car on the game (I'm pretty sure)

GTPlanet forums are full of people like this. It makes me laugh. Sure, more premiums and less cars overall would probably be better, but there are over 1000 cars, but still not enough for some people kindasad.gif It does show how the development has overrun, as there are not that many cars from after 2007....

The game will be amazing, i can't wait. I'm not watching any more videos of reading anything else if i can avoid it, now i know it's less than 2 weeks, i can wait to save a few surprises for the big day smile.gif

I am hoping for more tracks and cars to be released as DLC, i think we're getting plenty for our $60 wink.gif

I'm stoked for the F40 to be in the game, one of my favorite cars of all time. There's one I see around town here every once in a while, it's super sexy. The Kansas City Ferrari Club meets at my work every month or so, hopefully the F40 will pop up there sometime and I can get some pics of it.

I keep reading all these posts on other forums bitching about the differences between standard and premium cars. One guy is all kinds of upset about how the standards don't have 3D modeled door handles and details like that. Since I'm totally going to be paying attention to door handles and trim pieces when I'm driving 120mph...

For someone who doesn't already own a PS3, discovering that the 1000+ car list has been made by basically taking the same car and including different market-specific names of the vehicle to over-inflate the list is definitely a valid concern for pause. Because the game includes all three market specific names of the "miata" for the same model year isn't going to make me any more likely to spend $400+ for the PS3 console, HDMI cables, and the game itself when I have zero interest or real use in any of the other games or features PS3 brings to the table.

And this is why Sony has rubbed me the wrong way- making me wait till the end of 2010 after hyping huge numbers of cars to discover that, after convincing myself I'd totally buy a PS3 just to get GT5, I’d be better off just saying "no" and keep playing GT4 instead.

^ Bah, it's just a matter of buying the game and trying it. Those that will like it will, well, like it, and the others won't. I'm skeptical as well, which is why I'm going to buy just the game before buying a steering wheel to go with it.

Speaking of Gran Turismo, My brother and I have been playing GT5 Prolouge for a while. We go mad insane over the time trial's and are always trying to get the best lap times.

I just put down a lap time of 49.327 seconds on Grand Speedway with the 2007 Formula F1 in arcade mode with S2 tires pretty damn fast huh. Haha ya right the fastest online time set by a british guy is at 48.438 Almost I whole second faster wow!!

Speaking of, I went to my Gamestop and asked if they'd have it on the 24th, they said not likely unless you pre-order a copy...I'm like WTF, you guys don't get general stock? Apparently they don't.

How many tracks are suppose to be in this game??According to a random vid on youtube, around 60?Seems a bit low to me as FM3 has 100+.
