Anyone going to be stopping by the Cupcake Meet?

PS- I bring nothing but bad news I think.. The celi was broken into, AGAIN. The system I finally was rebuilding was taken, camera, even my cologne and sunglasses. That being said.. yesterday I installed a few things in the garage to inform me of intrusions, and now I have a bat sitting by the door. Cant wait!

Dang that sucks. You see thats the disadvantage of having such a clean looking car. I'm also putting an alarm system in next week to avoid the same thing, but then again I barely drive her, so its usually parked at my parents house. Wish I could go to the cupcake meet, but have family issues to take care of. Take some pictures and let us know how the cupcake meet went.
wow man that does suck.. its always a friend that steals crap from you, i had my radio stolen from me and it was probably someone i knew... id tell them i have a gun if they break into my car lmao
OK, so I lied.
As I posted on the "what i did today" thread, I found a new route that I am going to take on a test run. I already did about half of it this weekend, and for the most part was pleased. There were some parts I didnt care for, so I tried to eliminate those. And the possibility of a road I havent been on is in there as well. Now myself, I have always been more of a cruise guy than a meet guy. So instead of setting up meets, im going to focus on setting up cruises.
Now here is the cruise route.....

If anyone wants to go on a drive, hit me up. I'll be leaving from the Racetrac (8900 Block of 377), its just north of the starting point on the map. After I get some fuel and beverage of choice, Im rolling. Which should be around 11-1120 AM on the first of August. The next planned stop would be at the Sonic in Aledo for lunch.
So, if your game to take a nice little drive, PM me and we'll talk, as Im already planning the one for next month!

Man that looks great! I just asked my manager if I could take that day off but I forgot that we get trucks in on Sundays, so I can't take it off kindasad.gif Have fun though!

One more week. If anyone wants to cruise along, be advised there is a portion that I havent been down yet, so it may contain gravel/dirt. But for the most part its paved!
Well, I tried to get it off but I have to be at work for inventory purposes. Enjoy the cruise guys.
you mean enjoy the cruise....guy. And I will. Hit me up sometime
Ok, so im going to go to in the morning, as I was driving today, and I gotta say with a failing compressor, its hot.....real hot. One would say too hot.

Well, got back not too long ago. Took a lot of pictures, most of them were blurry or just bad angles. Its hard to drive while taking pics! Anyhow, the roads were ok. Bear Creek road was jacked up in most parts (I knew that already), and Old Weathorford road just plain sucked. There were so many depressions in the asphalt, I managed to scrape my muffler. All in all, not to bad. Now Im going to look for another route! I'll post pics later.
Sounds like it was quite the bumpy adventure. Scratching your muffler is just great isn't it? I absolutely hate it when that happens due to horrible noise and omgwtf moment laugh.gif

Hope it was a good drive though. I really need to take a nice drive again sometime soon kindasad.gif
Sounds good! I sure hope we can take a drive together later like I was telling you about

Damn... those are some sexy shelbies. Also...wtf zebras?! LOL thats awesome. Looks like you experienced some pretty good roads.

x2 on that next route. That is a monster!
It is a bit. About 4 hours or so (give and take).
So, anyone want to take the cruise with me?

I'll see what my work schedule looks like tomorrow when I go in. Hopefully I'll have a couple days off again next week. When is the target date for this monster? tongue.gif
I am planning to run this beast on the 15th. But I may or not may run it (considering the length), and may opt for something a bit closer and shorter. I'll keep it posted.

If you do something on the 15th that's shorter, I'm definitely down for it

I probably will, its all going to depend on where I can find halfway decent roads

Thought about it, and yeah a 4 hour drive on roads I dont know may be fun, but may turn out to suck as well.
Thats why I changed my route, and going to go do this one on the 15th.Pretty easy route: FM 5S, East Bankhead, Upper Denton Rd, Old Sprintown Rd, Veal Station Rd, Silvercreek Rd, Cattlebaron Dr, to White Settlement...
Approx. how long is that one?

Its about 2 hours...might be longer if I throw old airport road in the mix, maybe 215 then. The roads north of Weatherford im not 100% about the condition. So i'll be checking that out tomorrow
