If it'll last even close to 4 years, I'll be fine with it. but why won't it last?

Damn nice improvement. But I believe the vibrations off the road will lead it to crack if I'm not mistaking.
Thanks man, but well see how long it lasts. I mean the paint job is only a $300 or $400 maaco one that Manny (Pressure2) will be doing. It'll work for the time being and I only need for it to last for a few years, then shes coming off the road and will be my big project
the car is getting finished up this weekend. just have to clean it up in the rear and also redo the front end (fenders, bumper and hood) with the body work and primer since that's where I started and when I started it looked like sh!t haha Hopefully next week she'll be off to maaco and be in the hands of manny!
well I did another little mod. probably going to get bashed a little since I didn't weld a sheet behind it, butttttt

I still have to clean the driver side one up a little bit, there was a little lip that I must have missed with my hand before I primed it, but no biggie. The PS still needs more work. It got late and cold so I couldn't finish it up tonight, but it will be done tomorrow. It was a split second decision because I was going to redo the fenders since it was where I first started and they looked horrible, and I just thought, what the hell, why not go for it and see how it comes out. Can't wait to see what it will look like once they are on the car! Tomorrow I will be finishing up the PS and DS quarters, one of the holes needs to be repatched from where I drilled the holes for the SS
and then finish the bumper and the hood!

Ahh I gotcha, well I live in the northeast and it snows a lot in the winter, but I'm really hoping that my dad fixes this escape he got because then I get his blazer and take her off the road for the winter. I honestly didn't have the time to get all of the rust off. I'm going to re-cover it with a sh!t ton of fiberglass bondo stuff so that nothing can penetrate it and it will start as is, but we shall see after everything is set and done.

thanks man!
just another update, i'll be trading my 3 post steering wheel for the momo one dudeofchaos was selling, can't wait for that to come in! also, received the LED's from spee and have installed the gauge leds and the key ring, still have to install them on the a/c module and cig lighter. from ebay, i scored a sweet deal on an autometer carbon fiber air to fuel ratio gauge and just bought an o2 sensor for it since i only need one with the '94 engine harness in my car now. and not to forget, but my rear strut bar should be coming in the mail soon as well, from block. Can't wait to get everything setup and installed!
Still need to finish the bodywork, there is still a decent amount, but this weekend should be it
then comes teh paintttt

I managed to install my A/F Gauge and I think it came out pretty sweet! There's no more pocket next to the cigarette lighter now since I completely molded the area to hold a single gauge. The paint on it came out a little wacky, but I like the semi leather textured look it has to it. I sprayed on some krylon plastic paint, but it started to not settle right, it was making hills all around. I thought it was dry so I just sprayed primer onto it, but all the sudden the black paint began to seep through the primer in different areas and created some crazy high and low areas. I let that dry and went over all of it with a black primer, since I didn't have regular black, and let that dry.
Here are some pics:

wow that came out really good mike nice job!

Surprisingly enough, the cracks surrounding the gauge are awesome. Kind of reminds me of something from Batman. Sick job man.

Needles: wtf are you on?
lil-joe: I want to do it with the upper bezel as well, after I delete the clock and put some switches up there. I might relocate the hazard switch to somewhere else, but i'm not sure yet

tomorrow will finally be the last day of body work on the car. some of the body filler settled where i molded the passenger side of the rear bumper and a little bit of a dip was created. easy fix and then just some misc scratches and sanding some areas. The riser blocks will be going back on once the car is painted and im probably going to spray black plastidip on the rims because I don't like the brushed lip or center on it.
Has anyone used the clear plastidip before? I'm thinking about putting it on my front bumper to protect it from scratches and chips.

Today will be interesting day. I'm bringing my car to DynoTech, in Seekonk, MA, to get it dyno'd. It's only $50 for 2 pulls so what the hell? I might as well see what my car is making for power now that the engine is almost at 230k. All I have done is a transmission swap, intake, and a full exhaust. If I make more than 80whp, I'll be happy lol Results will be posted when I get back.
Here are the results from the dyno: (keep in mind, the engine has 229.5k on it)

Looking good Mike!
thanks!
Car should be out of Maaco on Wednesday. Riser blocks are going back on and the rims are getting plastidipped fully black. I'm kind of sick of the polished lip and center. Need to get new lugs that have open ends cause I'm switching to 5mm spacer in the rear and no spacer in the front and since I have extended studs, the lugs will not be able to reach the wheels. My parents are getting me lowering springs for Christmas so I cannot wait for that! Tanabe df210 are the ones I'm getting, 1.5" drop in the rear and 2.2" in the front. Going to look mean as f*ck.
not to forget, getting yellow wrap for the stock fogs and blacking out the front turn signals.

Need an update mang.
my st205 swapandour Beams swap
Well got the car back on Friday! I'm happy that it's 1 color now. I need to bring it back over winter break for them to fix the mirrors and the drivers side door. Other than that, it is what it is since I did the body work myself; If I had more time, it would have been better. It was a $430 paint job, and like I said, it is, what it is haha

It's from maaco. I wish Manny (pressure2) would have painted it cause I know he would have done a good job the first time around, but my dad went based on reviews that he found and didn't want me to get it painted there. I don't have any close ups yet
