nice work - you been driving around the block at all?
No not for about a week
I have started it a few times tho
Doesnt seem to matter how long she sets she still fires up within 3 cranks
I dont seem to have any leaks.
I just need to get the exhaust done
Tomorrow im going to finish up my pass motor mount an see if i can get someone with a better welder to do it this time
It was holding the motor up too high so im bringing it back down level

I havent hooked up my gauges yet
the exhaust is the last big thing that needs done
Im not sure it the speedo is working or not. The temp gauge is still working weird
So im trying to figure out where to plum in the oil gauge an find an adapter to run the temp gauge in the top rad hose

Well shes setting outside waiting for the tow truck to take her to the exhaust shop
I know i shouldnt have but i wanted to see if she bogged down at alittle higher rpm like she does below 2500
So i revved her to 4grand an popped the clutch an she didnt even move

.....because she dug a 6inch hole in driveway lol
The rpms only dropped to 3800 so id say shes should be good after the exhaust

its times like these that i love having access to my own fab shop. please tell me you are using mandrel bent pipes and not crush pipes
2001 Celica GT-S Turbo1997 Supra TT 6speed1997 Celica 3MZ/1MZ swap1990 Celica All-Trac
Mandrel bent i do believe.
Crush tube is like to stuff at autozone right?

More or less.
Mandrel is more expensive and in you probably won't see any improvement over crush bend piping. If anything I would have the shop use mandrel bent pieces for the Y pipe and then I wouldn't care on the rest because there aren't any major bends left in the Celica's exhaust.
Are you going over or under axle?

Over axle
they dont want to do under because there afraid it will bottom out or something
95celicast - do you think the headers you got would fit a celica
95 gt coupe, v6 swap weekend toy99 gt hatch beams swapped wife's94 st hatch my daily driverhttp://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=82235n
They can do under so long as they do their measurements with the car on the ground - where the subframe will be sitting normally. If they put it on a lift the rear subframe will hang lower, which will make the exhaust look bad once it is put back on the ground. My exhaust shop did up an under axle cat-back for the Yelli Celi for around $250 using this method.

Whoohoo my aluminum radiator just showed up so looks like i can put that in an put in the slim line fans too
Anyone see a problem with me mounting the fan on the front side of the rad so i have more room under the hood an should i do a pusher an a puller or both fans as pushers?
