It's a LinkECU Atom. Installed, tuned, and out the door was $1750

1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of moneyI'm not really an asshole, but I play one on the internet.**** Photobucket
Had a thought, wouldn't the ECU from a late 90's 1MZ-FE Camry/Solara with a manual be ideal? I know the cars were rare, but there are two on eBay now. So they do exist.

Ill have ti ask mr220v that does seem like it would great
The standalone would be ideal but thats way out of my price range for atleast a year
Maybe a piggyback like a sacf2 would help?

I had a similar issue with my supra. Would launch...was fine in 1st....hit second, starting building boost, hit 4k...BRICK WALL...Lost most of the power... Turned out to be the Throttle Position Sensor.. Id look into readjusting that.
Ok ill look at it an see what i can do

Awesome! What were they? I assume one was an O2 sensor?

Nope lol
Cam sensor
The auto trans( 2codes)
a a/c condenser code
An a egr code

95 gt coupe, v6 swap weekend toy99 gt hatch beams swapped wife's94 st hatch my daily driverhttp://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=82235n
3 of those is in the wiring
I have to move the cam sensor pin on the ecu an idk what i have to do for the trans codes
mr220v is gonna walk me through it all so im mote than a little grateful for that
The egr code im still not sure whats up with that one an the a/c code im stuck with lol
For now

She does seem to run alittle better
The backfiring problem is all but gone
She only did it once around 5200 in second when i really tried to lay inti her
You can tell the trans codes hold it back you can feel it want to go but get held back

That's why you should get the Nova done next. wink.gif As long as you only have to go in a straight line, you're ok. thumbsup.gif

you tried to goose it wile the cam sensor was giving a fault? brave...

freeking awesome progress though..
interested in seeing your impressions once the trans code is not pulling power, and the cam sensor is taken care of.. (thinking it is the reason for the back-fire) should be SWEET!!! thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif

"The buy my stuff, for help make great finish project of celica fund!"
Yea i ran her alittle. Im sure the sensor caused the backfire
Hopefully i can sort it all out in he next day or too
Even with the power being pulled from it she feels smooth though so that makrs me happy
