Interesting, so no actual driving yet huh...odd how differences exist between LHD and RHD chassis, the foot rest is toward the outside of the car on mine.

Went for a little drive last night as I had to get gas anyway. Nothing over 1/2 throttle or over 4,500rpm, felt good
Dyno & A/F check today
Everything check out great.
What can I say nothing but responsive

It sounds a lot more aggressive when the ACIS switches over, very smooth idle.

A gain of 10 KW throughout the entire rev range.
so:
@ Wheels
123Kw = 165HP
@ Engine
141Kw= 189HPmy first dyno:
@ Wheels
107kW =145HP
@ Engine
133kW = 178HP

That's a nice little gain for minimal effort

A good comparison over all 3 dyno's. (Went to the same place each time)

here's some of the AF ratio info I got
idle:CO 0.17%
LAMBDA 1.157
4th gear 50km/h cruise:CO 0.86%
LAMBDA 1.006
4th gear 100km/h cruise:CO 0.60%
LAMBDA 1.013
Full throttle:CO 7.31%
LAMBDA 0.805
How does these figures compare to other peoples, as we don't do emission testing here in New Zealand.

Cheers for the comments guys. I'm quite surprised how much smoother it is over the rev range, especially the low end driveability.
Ha TRD LSD's are very rare to come across especially the front ST205 TRD LSD
I'm sure it would be pretty close to that 170whp mark without the cat. But as you can see I'm quite happy with it. The joy's of the range of bolt on parts for the 3S-GE

If I find a beams st202 for sale locally I'm going to take it in for a dyno to compare. As there aren't very many dyno's of them on here and the ones on the net are all over the place.
I guess you guys will be expecting a video of some sorts?
ST202 SS-II CELICA threadNew Zealand members check inSticky thread's: How to contribute and troubleshoot.
Nice, lambda looks good. Did they listen for knock? or able to record ignition timing? or not so much in the way of datalogging?
if that graph was of a higher resolution, such as a dynapack printout might be able to check for points where ignition has been pulled to give you an indication of any knock.
have you checked to see if your E1 and TE1 diagnostic still works the same? and also ACIS operation.
and now to make the very most of that ecu, you must make sure your injectors and fuel filter are clean as ignition will be running on-the-edge, each cyl must be guaranteed it's supply of fuel
and also your base timing, spark plugs, rotor, cap and all that must be in tip top shape

Yes he did comment about how good my lambda readings were, did you have any readings when you got yours tuned?
Not sure didn't ask, remember the toms ecu is the factory ecu with my guess a new daughterboard to allow them to adjust things (like what nistune up your way do) so since it uses the factory ecu case there is no extra aux points to plug into.
Haven't checked the diagnostic port, but wouldn't see why it wouldn't work. ACIS still operates, although when it switches over and closes higher rpm I'm sure it sounds more aggressive.
Rotor, cap and sparkplugs where recently changed anyway, still low km's remember

I don't think it would be running 'on-the-edge' just they would have tidied up the super safe tune Toyota did.
ST202 SS-II CELICA threadNew Zealand members check inSticky thread's: How to contribute and troubleshoot.
Ahh, when mine was tuned there was every piece of data all logged by the dyno but i only got power and boost curve printouts unfortunately, i wish i had of gotten the AFR readouts now.
But i can tell you based on my wideband gauge that I have 14.7 at the tip of the pedal dropping to 13,12,11 when i step on it hanging around 11 onboost, dropping to as low as 10.5 at the very highest load points like 20psi and high revs
Mike W1996 Toyota Celica ST205 GT-FOURGT2860RS turbine, TiAL mvr44, JE 86.5φ piston, Clutchmasters FX400, APEX P-FC269awhp / 273ft-lbs
Yeah, also side note I'm only going to run BP98, the 95 are inconsistent sometimes 93, 94 hence why they were changed to Vpower and premium etc. Gull's E85 was a joke anyway they've removed the ethanol out of it as it ruined the fuel stations pumps, lines etc
I think I'm pretty spot on with regarding a new daughterboard being installed. Though not 100% sure yet how Tom's did the adjusting/setting up, if it was via the diagnostic port or if they remove the ecu each time and plug it in to make changes that way.

Haven't seen a good photo of an opened ecu, but came across this in a stroke of luck on a youtube video. (I don't intend to open mine at all)

btw this is a photo not a video, so it wont play
ST202 SS-II CELICA threadNew Zealand members check inSticky thread's: How to contribute and troubleshoot.
I won't be too worried about knocking. Even on 95 it should be okay with a stock compression of 10,3:1. My Blacktop with a 11,0:1 compression runs fine on 98 without knocking with an advanced timing of 10 BTDC.
So IMO you shouldn't be too worried.
My 7AFE to 4AGE 20V Blacktop conversion!
^ Yeah just a personal preference really.
I came across this recently from MRP who were taking apart a TRD LSD like mine.

Did you ever refurbish your TRD strut bar or is it naturally that clean?

Very nice.

Most of them I see, my own included, have a touch of surface rust. It just goes to show the amount of care you put into your car.

You're well maintaining the car! Like to see that!

Yes I am, although there are a couple of parts there not just Toyota

Cheers, hopeful it all comes along smoothly. Looking forward to painting those engine bay bits and white rims again... black pads lol

Recently got this

Just received today the main parts I was waiting on from Toyota, A day early birthday present

. As requested by 2 members I also ordered new splash guards, so they'll be getting those shortly once I send them off. Also got some front splitters for my brother's Allex ZZE123 (Corolla)
The brake rotors & rear pads I didn't get off Toyota due to price, went with another brand.

you remind me of the guy from the beams forum he uses every little single bolts and nuts that is Toyota on his car. I'm talking about the guy who made the custom supercharger for the beams engine.
But nice stuff
