another update,
dustin and steff came by yesterday, and since dustin is the wiring king of JDM guy, he REPINNED the body harness to accept the 205 EA1 plug, which is an awesome thing, since that also includes the intercooler pump wiring ect.
i cant stress how cool this is.
he also did a wire or 2 for one of the interior plugs.
heres a pic of the 205 EA-1 plug, installed in the car:

iirc the pins to the far left are the IC pump and FP stuff, all the others have been pinned in from the stock wiring harness.
jim owes D big time for that one..lol
we also ended up getting another pressure plate.
the spec one got all rusted from getting wet on the ride up here, and to be honest, after the whole spec fiasco, im just glad jim had the money to afford a new PP
so, we got him the ACT HD PP, to go with his ACT disk, and got him an OEM throw out bearing:
sorry for the blurry pic:

now for a change of pace for a sec, a little exterior.
jim is a HUGE fan of the forgmann lip for the '4, so when he saw one on ebay a few weeks ago,he jumped on it.
unfortunately, it was located in hong kong, and in order to ship it, it had to be cut in half.
he still bought it, and had it shipped here.
when i got it, my mouth dropped. it looked like the guy who owned it, hit everything but the lottery with it, it had cracks and splits all over it, both corners that wrap into the fenderwells were cracked, and were being held in place by electrical tape.
a few pics of the lip when i got it:

between the previous damage, and the thing being cut in half, i was a little worried about how it would look, and more importantly fit once it was fixed.
so, i took it into work, and had our best guy work on it.
i think he did a pretty damn good job, the pics tell the whole story.

thats with nothing holding it on, just placed on the car, thats it.
the motor goes in this weekend!
