a few more pics of todays progress.

first, i took the motor off the stand, and got ready to do the rear main seal, looked to me like it had been leaking abit:



replaced:



then i installed the freshly resurfaced flywheel, and installed the clutch:





then poped the tranny on with my cousin joes help, and ploped her in the bay:



now its just a matter of reconnecting everything

no offence or sarcasm, you're right, looks like the inside of intake mani (not tb) could use some cleaning, I'll see what I can do next time I'm over there. From the newer pics (in the bay) the tb looks very clean, my bad.

Little by little hopefully this week I should be able to help Manny get things buttoned up if he can hide out in the garage for a few hours

Is that even the inside of the TB/intake manifold? I assume you mean the pic death quoted and the round/dark opening in the picture above the WI. Is that even the inside of the TB/IM.....or is it something in the way of the shot? The reason I ask is because that is crystal clear in the picture where everything else seems a little fuzzy.

HELL YES, stop trying to sell this thing, you know you still love it! Just drop in a GEN3 turn up the boost and enjoy it. DO IT!!!

And yes an update will be up tomorrow, I just spoke with Manny and the car IS running. So far so good, everything seems to be working properly.......AND I FINALLY HAVE POWER STEERING!!!! I believe Manny will go into further detail tomorrow about what has been done, and whats going on. I purchased a few more items for my setup and need to send them up to Manny. I cant wait!

When I first bought that car rjb23 claimed it was a custom 3" with an apexi muffler...I don't no how much truth was in that statement but it was what I was told...sounds good Jimmy <3


Next to swap will be Manny with his gt..not his wife's car but his car.

maybe Eric will swap when he finally stops trying to sell his car.

Hi shanon! Nice! We can keep in touch, i got exactly the same engine WRC which i fitted on a...Rav4 lol now it is thw GT-Rav4:D

we can share some info...for example we can try to activate the antilag n water injection hehehe that would be too exciting lol

i wouldnt suggest activating the antilag in any way, unless you plan on replacing turbos every couple hundred miles, like TTE did when they rallied the car.

we installed a WI kit in place of the factory WI.
