>Im not sure what all the out of the box spring rates are. Im pretty sure you can get custom spring rates from each company. I believe KSports have a higher spring rate than most.

I am leaning more towards the GT-Pro as the RR's are more "race only" they say
The GT-Pro's have a higher spring rate out of the box than the Kontrol Sport Pro, but I believe that is common when moving up to advanced systems throughout all brand coilovers. They try to keep lower spring rates for more comfort obviously

Hotbits. Nice ride when soft, makes you want to puke on the stiffest.

HAHAHAHA that's too damn funny! I freaking love mine, even though I only have them for the rear, but they are amazing. You will get pretty much 0% body roll when doing autoX with them on the stiffest settings.
i know czwalga had said that he got them for around 4k new. That might be a BIT out of my range. im trying to stay within 1500. Unless if I can find some used, but they are more of a custom order type of setup with Hot Bits

I could have sworn he told me it was $2,400 for the set...
Tein from USA? Though your USA specs are different to our Japanese ones, which are discontinued. Or try fortune auto though they only list ST185 & ST205 Celica's atm

My D2 RS's have high spring rates (something like 10.5 front and 11.5 rear) and are fully adjustable with camber plates, as well as lower slotting to allow the top bolt to rock for adjustment. I love them. Only thing that scared me was the height my sway bar has to sit in the rear. I'm looking into a longer Moog part number that will allow it to hang lower. Otherwise, I've got them on 18 right now with a 0 preload on the spring and it's a tad stiffer than I'd like, but holy hell does it dig into corners. That's also on winter tires! I've also noticed that because I'm running a slight rake, the rear has a higher tendency to want to break free first. It's great fun in the bends now tongue.gif

I don't think the rake has much to do with the oversteer, once this car stiffens up it just tends to do that. Lovely characteristic.

BC racing type MH

Upgrade from street base kit celica .

Those look to be comprable to the Ksports' GTPro's
Looks like I have another option

I would ask you how they ride....but

1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situationエキサイティングカーレーシングチーム!march2010 COTM:6GCfeature2014:january2015-2016-2018 COTM
Lololololl.......haters gonna hate
drivers side axle spit out its grease so that needs to be re packed.
Rear coilovers are to be adjusted. Rear Fenders are to be rolled and rust-proofed.
clean the interior up, re paint the harness bar and 3 pt rear.
new rear tires (finally)
tint

still leaks oil and I am contemplating whether or not to fix it right now or wait until the winter

and this is how shes sitting right now.
paint!

Where did you get your harness bar?
got it from another member. It was custom welded to fit. Thats really all the info I got on it from when I got it way back when

1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situationエキサイティングカーレーシングチーム!march2010 COTM:6GCfeature2014:january2015-2016-2018 COTM
the rear coilovers are fairly shot. They cannot be adjusted in anyway possible.
So I am going to have to look into either just a temporary set of rear coilovers if I can find them or get a full set in a few months.
*clean your coilovers kids*

LED'd the rear end. The right side is LED left is Filament.
The brake lights are definitely and improvement. The indicators are a tiny bit brighter and their engagement is faster (as expected) The reverse lights (not on) are a bit dimmer (tested during dusk though)but more white than pale yellow

and got my body parts back from paint. the paint tint is off from the hatch to the roof, which was to be expected, I have to get it outside to see how apparent it is. Part of me cares, the other part could care less, its not a show car.
Front bumper mustache is gone too!

If you do take out the harness bar for paint, do you think you could snap a few pics of it? I wanna have one made and i really like how yours looks.

You've got great looking car!

Its all back in already!

All that is different is where it mounts to the seatbelt bracket on the B pillar, and possibly the brackets on the bottom 2 bars where they connect to the airbag module's 2 bolts

got some caps!

thanks guys!
Im too lazy to take anymore pictures before the calendar deadline so I am just going to use one of those!
pictures in the driveway ftw!

I am for sure going to get covers for the rears when I order them. The rears show alot more wear and corrosion than the fronts.
